★★★★★ Very tasty food! I went here with my family on a Saturday night. Busy but not too busy. It is located in a small strip mall with a few other stores. Food was absolutely delicious. Ended up ordering a few extra dishes to take home with us because all of us cleaned our plates! Would definitely recommend this fine restaurant and I will return to try more Indonesian food in the future!!!
One other note: the deserts weren't the greatest. I am not sure if the puddings were not supposed to be that sweet, but the Indonesian rice pudding tasted downright salty to me. Tiramisu was delicious, however. Posted on April 6, 2013 |

★★★★★ This is a great restaurant. Ever since I started eating halal, I have missed asian food. Every time I visit a city with a halal asian restaurant, I have to go there. Finally, there is one within a 40min drive. The owners and staff of this restaurant are very nice and friendly, and the food is excellent. I particularly like the chicken satay. In all fairness, the General Tso's Chicken is not quite the traditional GTC that you would get at a Chinese restaurant, but it is still very good. Everything my wife and I ate at this restaurant has been great, and I look forward to coming here many times in the future.
EDIT: 6/2015 - Unfortunately this wonderful restaurant that I have enjoyed eating in many many times since it opened, now seems to be closed. According to the website (http://www.kusuka.us/), they shut their doors last month. I was very sad to find that the restaurant had closed, especially since I was calling earlier this month to get some of their delicious foods. The owners were very friendly and very good Muslims in the community. I'll miss this restaurant. Posted on June 26, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Great Food with nice ambiance! A a very cozy place to take your family. Far from downtown Pittsburgh but well worth the drive. The family who runs this place is very nice and takes care of you. If its time for prayers, you can pray there also as they have a nice small prayer room in the corner as well. Posted on June 6, 2015 |

★★★★★ Little far from downtown Pittsburgh but very nice and clean place. Food was good and they have a small dedicated place to pray. I was told they may be closing down by the end of this month and move near/around Oakland area. Posted on May 12, 2015 |

★★★★★ If you're a strict zabihah eater then this is a must-go in the Pittsburgh area. I enjoyed the general Tso's chicken. I also loved the Es Cendol Indonesian drink.
Friendly owners and clean restaurant. Posted on October 29, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Off the beaten path but was intrigued by an indonesian restaurant in a very un-diverse city.
Prices for quantity were reasonable. Food was ok, definitely tastes more homemade than "restaurant" quality which may not be a bad thing. Posted on August 19, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ The food was average. The waitress did not explain the menu well so one of my friend got a total different what the waitress described. They need someone speak english as I feel they can offer good food Posted on July 24, 2013 |
Dear best car, we sorry that you had unpleasant experience while visiting our restaurant. Thank you for the critics.
We are a family restaurant owner, so anytime don't hesitate to ask more detail for the type of food, we will be happy to explain also how the food will cook.
We will keep try improving our quality and service. |

★★★★☆ Food was not bad, not the best we have had. Nice though. There is a place to pray which was much appreciated. Run by Indonesian muslims. Posted on June 12, 2013 |

★★★★★ This restaurant has excellent food, quality service, is aesthetically pleasing, and is family friendly. We were out of towners and came 15 minutes before closing. They accommodated us and we didn't feel rushed. We highly recommend everyone to eat here! Posted on May 26, 2013 |
