★☆☆☆☆ Daily special: Buy one Daal, Get one diarrhea free!!! Horrible. Everything is frozen and thawed out. Stay away from this restaurant especially the Daal. Posted on March 20, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Right after crossing the I-91, this place is for the family.
Customer Service:
The customer service is ok. It depends on who you speak with. There was confusion on whether they accept Amex. I use Amex for my business trips. One person said no, the other said yes. I started to use my Amex then suddenly, they stopped and said we need to purchase $20 worth of food to charge the credit card. I can understand that Amex charges a higher percentage. In my case, they lose business because i have to pay cash and submit my receipts.
Quality:
Too spicy for my taste. All dishes are spicy except for the biryani
Meat Authenticity:
For those who are indifferent about this... this section is not for you to read.
All inquiries are dated. As with everything in life, changes occur and meat sources can also change. So call, be respectful and ask.
Verified that the meat comes from NJ and is hand slaughtered
Pros:
Good food
Cons:
Too spicy and menu is out of date which is annoying.
Overall Experience:
Good place to go, ask them to not sprinkle green peppers, it just adds to the spiciness. Posted on December 28, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Tried their chicken biryani, mutton biryani, and chicken karahi. Biryanis were good, nothing out of this world though, a little salty. Chicken karahi was really good. Everything is prepared fresh I guess that's why it takes them ten fifteen mins to get your order ready. Staff is very friendly. The only thing that bothers me is the pricing, way too expensive. Chicken karahi with one plain paratha and one aloo para tj came out to 18$, that to me is five star pricing. Ambience is not great at, I suggest taking out. I really hope they work on their prices because as much as I want to try the rest of their dishes I will not shed around 20$ for a meal for one person. Posted on September 23, 2014 |

★★★★★ Love it! Lahori chargha is the best Posted on May 6, 2014 |

★★★★★ Excellent food, very authentic with decent service. Chicken tikka masala was above average, kabobs and vegetables were excellent. Naans were fantastic.
I highly recommend this place in the Hartford area. Posted on April 6, 2013 |

★★★★★ Reasonable food and not pricey at all. Good people. Reason less staff might be because of the frequency of customers. I order their sheek kabab frequently. Good taste and resonably priced. Posted on February 13, 2012 |

★★★★★ I regularly order Take-out from this restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick. I have tried almost all their dishes. I love their chargha, Bihari kababs and biryani. Definitely can give Rasham Restaurant a run for their money. Posted on November 7, 2011 |

★★★★★ Great kababs, good food. In my opinion, it's a good competitor for rasham's kababs and food also. Posted on August 24, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Food was very delicious but also has worst service on the day we visited. There was only one poor guy who was primarily doing everything and he did his best. Would b good if they improve their service by adding person. Posted on August 9, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Am moving to Hartford, and we've been here twice so far, and both times, the food was exceptionally good. We loved the Nihari, the haleem, bihari kabab and chicken biryani. The first time, we were also offered fresh complimentary dessert. The naan is also awesome. The place was pretty neat and clean too. I think this is going to be a regular haunt. Also, the last time, we were very graciously offered prayer mats to pray. Posted on May 25, 2011 |
