★★★☆☆ I must confess I had been looking forward to eating here given the reviews of my peers. chicken satay and yaki soba wonderful, coke was not coke but some lesser derivative from Aldi/Lidl. The ramen came with spagetti. I can only think that the chef was having an "italian flashback". The best was reserved for last. The nasi goreng looked like the byproduct from the Hadron Collider. ★★☆☆☆ Read the reviews on this site and went to Noodle noodle on an afternoon out in the west end. Was comforted by reading "serves halal chicken" outside in the shop window and on the menu. Satay chicken was deep fried (not grilled), main dishes were quite bland and boring. I ordered an orange juice and my friend a coke. Coke was very flat and Orange juice was extremely bitter, seemed to be a very cheap carton one. Despite huge portions (me and my friend could not finish half of the food on the plate), not recommendable. There are other restaurants in central london which can provide better tasting food for similar budget prices. We paid £20 including 10% service charge and felt we overpaid them massively. ★★★★★ This place is cheap and cheerful! Food is really tasty, even better than Wagamama's which isn't even halal. I often go here for lunch with non-muslim colleagues and everyone is happy. Highly recommended! Posted on September 27, 2006 |

★★★★☆ Your average upscale noodle bar (like Wagamama's), though this one serves halal chicken in all its dishes. While this isn't the whole menu, it definitely gives you a variety of halal options. Posted on March 11, 2005 |
