NR I would not eat here again if they paid me!!! First off they told us we are out of hammous, but 5 min later 2 guys walked in and they gave them Hammous!!! When I ordered bread, it took 15 min to bring it out and by then our meal was done. When I went to pay I asked why when we ordered Hammous you said you were out and the customers who walked in after us got it, she said we made it, I shook my head in disbelief and the owner says, ohhhh my God!! Owners are rude and do not know first thing about customer service. Chicken shawarma, dry and salad was just a bed of lettuce with store bought ranch drizzled on top. First and last time here. Without proper customer service no place is worth my money!! Posted on May 17, 2016 |

★★★★★ The place is family owned, nice and clean. The ambience reflect Afghan culture with ethnic touches and photos around the wall. The food... is just perfect! Plates are generous, tenderness of meat is amazing. Wish to live close here! Posted on September 2, 2014 |

★★★★★ I live in Chico, CA. When I drive to SF to any reason, I do not miss this food. I could not find food like this in my 8 years in the US. If I want to have food like this, then I have to make my food. This is family owned restaurant. I like the bone less lamp. It is good!! Posted on October 26, 2013 |

★★★★★ A very nice place to eat. I have eaten several times here and twice in the last two days. The place is cozy and very clean. I've tried just about everything and it has always been delicious. The two young ladies working there are super sweet. The one named Sarah helped me the last two visits and she is very nice and gets the order in and out quickly. Seems like more and more Halal places are popping up and its nice to be able to dine in them especially when away from home. I love coming here whenever I am on business in this town. ★☆☆☆☆ Horrible customer service!!! The women there are very rude. They think you know the menu inside out and expect you to know it. They don't explain things to you. Food is good but service is terrible. Food and service go hand in hand. Their dealings with me was not nice. Posted on May 10, 2013 |

★★★★★ Halal food in Vacaville has arrived! and they have done it well! This place is awesome. It's their third week being open. They have a halal sign posted on their window. They do not have much of a selection but I hope they will add more items in the near future.
To sum up their menu, they have 2 appetizers, and 6 main kabobs. That's pretty much it. I ordered the potato bolani (aloo paratha)- omg, it was amazing! It was a huge portion, enough to feed 4 people and it cost $4.25. I highly recommend this appetizer. And I had the chopan kabob (boneless lamb tenders). Oh, it was super duper soft and delicious. It came with rice and salad for about $10. The portions were great, it came with rice and salad. The presentation was very tasteful as well. I will definitely be back soon. I hope that they add a halal burger and hopefully an eggplant dish. I liked the location and I liked the fact that the food did not take too long for it to arrive after we ordered. ★★★★☆ Well it's sure nice to have a halal restaurant in Vacaville. There is a hand made Arabic halal sign in the window and the owners verbally assured me that all the meat is Zabihah hand slaughtered halal. I tried the bolani as well as several of the kabobs and I must say this is great Afghani food! The only other place I've had Afghani food like this was in Fremont so it's very cool to have this kind of food closer to home. They did just open a few days ago so they're still working some kinks out of their operation but I'll be going back for sure! Posted on January 16, 2013 |
