NR While we were assured halal meat, the ambience was quite questionable. Alcohol served on premises. Posted on August 10, 2016 |

★★★★☆ This place is a great restaurant with quality Persian food.
The comment below me is extremely judgmental and in my opinion should be deleted. The women at the restaurant are normal Muslim women that choose not to wear hijab, nothing more. His attacks are unfair and prejudicial.
Quality kababs and rice, and a good place to go in downtown. Posted on June 28, 2011 |

NR Alsalaam alaikum,
The place was easy to find. As with anything downtown, had to look for parking. The restaurant was clean, no alcohol served.
The staff was very friendly and courteous.
they had a child high chair.
Let me make this clear, I am not saying this place is not Halal, but noticed a couple of things that made me doubtful:
1 - as you are walking into the restaurant on the right of the glass door, there are a few typical stickers you'd find in all businesses such as the Interac, Visa, MasterCard stickers. This place also had the gay pride sticker (rainbow flag)!!!.
2 - although the staff was very friendly and helpful, the ladies working there had a little bit too much makeup, and wore inappropriate clothing.
I'm presuming that most people reading "Zabihah" care about where their kids, wives, and themselves go out for dinner.
Again, I'm not saying this place is or is not Halal. I ended up not eating there. this is my personal experience. Posted on April 17, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Nice place , but difficult to find parking in the street . The food was very testy .one of the good plaices in Vancouver to eat out side with family (kids) .It was a bit expensive but I think worth the money Posted on February 20, 2011 |

★★★★☆ The food is amazing. I've gone a few times and rarely disappointed. The price is comparable to other Persian restaurants/stands around downtown. If they serve their baklava that is made on-site (rarely available), it's a must try!!! The place is always clean. Communications with the staff is a big challenge and that is why I drop one star and give only 4/5. The food is worth it so I put up with the tiresome communication. Sometimes the staff may forget some items that would go with an order so one has to keep track of what is what and for how much. Posted on December 13, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ We had lunch there before Ramadan.
The food is OK but not best Persian food in Vancouver by any means. Halal was confirmed by owners (and a friendly muhajjaba lady was working in the kitchen, if that ever means anything).
We felt it was overpriced compared with other similar (or better) restaurants. Posted on August 26, 2010 |

★★★★★ Alhumdullilah, we had the Feysione (chicken in green sauce/papaya) and the rice with minced beef and beef kabob. The food was excellent, the helpings were generous and the owner was most gracious. The restaurant is clean and is open from 11 am - midnight per the owner. Posted on April 29, 2010 |
