★★★★★ I love this place and go frequently. It's not "fine dining" but tasty, good portions and a good range of spice level selection depending on your taste. Posted on March 29, 2017 |

Can anyone confirm this for us? We need some more verification of this. We will follow up ourselves. |

★★★★☆ The previous reviewers put it perfectly: The food is very good, but not exactly authentic Mexican.
I would have to say it is a little too expensive though.
But the owner was very nice, so I will probably go back one of the next times I'm in Vancouver. Posted on November 13, 2011 |

★★★★☆ This place is a regular for me; they prepare Mexican food with Indian fusion.. I love their chicken tacos and beef taco bowls. The owners are friendly and the quality of food is excellent. All the people I took to this place liked it. The place is however small and only has a couple of tables inside. Posted on March 5, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Salam,
I visit here regularly. Full verified Halal food, on the sign and confirmed by Indian Muslim owners/operators.
It is Mexican food but with a touch of Indian spices. I like the Tacos best, but the Burritos are good too. The Tacos are authentic softshell tacos, not American style hard shell. They offer beef, chicken and prawns (and something else, forget) as the meat, with a variety of toppings. Multiple spice levels available too.
Owners are friendly and easy to communicate with if you have special requests (I get no Salsa, I don't like onions) and they also server Indian food (Tikka etc) only on the weekends. I haven't tried the Indian foods yet as I only am in the area workdays.
There is only minimal seating, it's mostly a takeaway place. Service is fast even during lunchtime, I've never encountered an overly-long queue.
Only quibble is if you're expecting "real" Mexican spices you might have to adjust your expectations. The food is still great, just not exactly Mexican, especially if you've lived in California :)
Highly recommend! Posted on July 5, 2008 |
