Dreamy Weenies |

740 North Rampart Street, New Orleans, LA 70116
We love hot dogs! And even more than that, we love hot dogs that scream flavor from inside-out. Depending on your taste, you can choose from beef (Halal AND Kosher), lamb, and even VEGAN dogs then, top them off with your favorite traditional and nontraditional toppings! The prepping, cooking, and serving process avoids any mixing of ingredients and oils. In other words, your vegan dog will be just that after its prepared. But even if you just want a classic beef frank with a little ketchup and mustard, your beef contains no fillers or byproducts. And if that is not enough to whet your palate, you can then choose from a delicious variety of side items too! You have to get yourself over to Dreamy Weenies and witness what happens when the hot dog goes NOLA! Added on January 4, 2013 and last updated 6 years ago

★★★★☆ Only Zesty Beef was listed as halal. The rest were crossed out. The food was OK but expensive. I will not go back because of parking. Posted on May 11, 2016 |

★★★★★ Had the halal classic dog with the chili genie on top. Was not disappointed. You can tell the staff cares about the place being successful and they keep this place clean including the bathroom. I will be back. Posted on August 28, 2015 |

★★★★★ Every review is spot-on: this place rocks. I wish we had more time in NOLA to go back and keep trying their delicacies. Yes - we are talking about hot dogs. To understand, you have to picture a local hidden gem (but not a hole-in-the-wall joint) and then make it gourmet, and you're getting closer. choose your weiner, choose your toppings, choose your sides, choose your sauce or accompaniment, and then enjoy! Thanks for the recommendation Br. Nasir, of the curry beef kabob, and the zesty cajun dog. see you next time inA! Posted on May 20, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Hot dogs are on point! I've been there twice and both times ordered the spicy hot dog with garlic and other toppings. The hot dog bread is so soft and fluffy. I took away a point because the sweet potato fries were horrible. They need better fries and onion rings. Service is good. I would go back but not order fries :) Posted on February 23, 2015 |

★★★★★ Great food- run by 2 African American Muslim brothers, this place has different types of hot dogs that you won't find at your typical halal restaurant. Only downside is that it is a little further away from downtown. Posted on June 10, 2013 |

★★★★★ Best. Hotdog. Joint. Ever.
A large group of us were in NOLA for 4 days. We visited this establishment literally every day. Between the 10 of us, we probably tried every halal item on the menu. Simply amazing food and fantastic service. This is something unique that you won't get a chance to eat elsewhere in zabiha form. Posted on February 24, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Nice hot dog - got the spicey beef with the toppings. If you are looking for a hot dog experience, I would recommend going there. Place itself is nice, and simple but definately clean. Folks behind the counter were extremely pleasant. Halal options are clearly marked and was told that the preparation is sequestered from other non-halal offerings. Would be even better if there were diverse halal options. Posted on January 6, 2013 |
