★★★★★ Good deli style market, great Kabab and osh, Posted on March 13, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Been going here for about 15 years. I've seen them grow and expand from a mere grocery store to serving an elaborate display of food from their grill. The kubideh and jujeh Kababs are still the way I remember it. I recommend. Posted on September 8, 2012 |

★★★★★ Get their amazing tandoori chicken. Magical food, amazing grocery store, taste of Iran in CA. Posted on February 2, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Expensive groceries, but they have pretty good kabab with the very thin bread (Persian style) they cook on site. They also sell Halal meat. Customer service is a little on the slow side. Posted on January 14, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ More of a Grocery Store, yet the food is great !! The Kaboobs are grilled really good....however Customer Service definitely needs to improve. Posted on July 16, 2009 |

★★★★★ Part of our day trip to San Jose for a Persian movie and some eating and shopping. We brought a cooler and bought lots of chicken and beef from them and had lunch before the movie. The food was good, inexpensive and we're still eating the butcher meat we bought. We'd love to live closer to shop and eat more often at Rose. As far as some posts about their customer service, they're Iranians! LOL Posted on March 5, 2007 |

★★★★☆ It has a reasonable selection of grocery, and though most of its grocery is a couple of dollars more than other stores in Santa Clara, it may be the closest place to the mountain view/palo alto area. Posted on December 17, 2006 |

★☆☆☆☆ We used to live in Mountain View, we been to Rose Market only twice. We decided to buy meat elsewhere since it is not fresh, expensive and bad service. They served to people who they know or their friends so if it your first time, good luck and you have to wait. Posted on November 19, 2006 |

★★★★★ I live in Mountain View and I only shop at Rose Market. It is HALAL so anyone who doubts that or claims that it is not is wrong. Ask the butcher with the glasses he will let you know and show you certification. Their meat is the best quality and I have been to many markets including Taj majal. None compare to Rose MArket. ★☆☆☆☆ Rose market has easily one of the worst customer service around (maybe only second to Darda Seafood in Milpitas). The staff is sometimes rude to the level that you wonder why are you giving the place any business. Avoid this place and take your hard earned dollars some where else where they give you some respect. Posted on August 13, 2005 |

★☆☆☆☆ I shopped at rose market for 3 years while I was living in MV. They have a good selection of grocery stuff, which probably is the only good thing about it. But they are extremely expensive, and they have a weird way of pricing things that never made sense to me. I am not sure if it is bay area or rose market but stuff that you can buy for $1 in NY (e.g. a pack of tea) are sold for $5! Make sure you check expiration date on packs particularly whne you buy yogurt. The place is quite dirty. People there are not too friendly (except the guy with glasses in the meat section) with men but they are particularly rude when it comes to women customers. I always thought the meat was halal (my #1 reason why I shopped there) but now that I read one of the comments above, I am not sure about that anymore either. They usually cover older ground beef with fresh one on the outside, so you don't see the difference until you got home! And I always wondered why when someone orders a kabob the whole store has to hear it via loudspeakers! If it is your only choice in the area go there, otherwise find an alternative. ★☆☆☆☆ I spent all day in pain after eating a chicken kabob at this place. I believe that they cook only the meat that they cannot sell otherwise. Posted on November 10, 2003 |

★★★★☆ Good tasting, low cost and large size kobideh (minced beef kabab) but loaded with fat. Maybe thats what makes it taste so good.
Chicken kababs are very good. Portion size are generous too. <$5 on the chicken kabab sandwich and $2.xx on the kobideh. Posted on October 14, 2003 |

★★☆☆☆ From the last time I checked, they falsely advertise that they have halal meat. They have a sign up saying that they carry halal meat but when you call the number that they post - the people say ""we never authorized Rose Market to have halal meat - they are lying"". ★★★★☆ Their kababs are great! Also has a full-service butcher and a wide selection of eastern groceries. Posted on November 22, 2000 |

|
★★★★☆ Grocery shop with butcher shop in the back. Serves Persian dishes (kabab koubideh and stuff). Kabaabs are grilled outside the store directly on a grill, unique. Posted on June 15, 1999 |
