★★★★★ I was visiting Vancouver and came here with a friend at the recommendation of his family who live in the area.
This place was great. The service was really good and the staff were very helpful and attentive. It is a mixture of Thai and Malaysian food with some desi food as well.
We had the TumYam Kung soup which was really good, spicy as well, and very authentic. We had the lamb biryani as well; great flavor and the lamb was tender and juicy. The spicy chicken came steaming and was exquisite with great flavor. We then had the pad thai with chicken and some other beef noodles (gekong?) that were also excellent. We just loved everything here, and I definitely recommend it highly. Posted on September 30, 2013
★★★★☆ Establishment is 100% halal offering a reasonably varied choices of Malay food. I thoroughly enjoyed my nasi goreng kampong and they are generous with their portion and ingredient. It is definitely a place where I will bring my family again when we visit BC again. Posted on March 26, 2013
★★★☆☆ I recently heard of this place and decided to check it out as one my favourite dishes are Chicken Satay. I heard about the authenticity of this place and thought I would give it a try. My group and I tried the chicken satay, mee goreng, and the spiced chicken.
The satay was pretty good but didn't taste like the one I had in Malaysia. I wasn't a fan of the mee goreng ( noodles) it had a fishy taste and egg in it.
The spicy chicken was quite nice; it was fried and then coated with spiced served with rice. It had a nice kick but the chicken was a bit pink. I would again if I was in the area with nothing else to eat. Posted on January 7, 2013
