★☆☆☆☆ Probably the most accurate representation of how misleading this app can be. Firstly, the position given to Apple maps was out by a mile so there was nothing there when we arrived. Second, when we did double back to the place marked in the zabihah app, again, there was no KFC in sight.
After walking 2 miles in total we realised that zabihah gives VERY inaccurate restaurant locations and therefore cannot be relied upon if you want somewhere to eat.
After failing to locate this imaginary KFC we ended up eating elsewhere (halal) not listed in this app.
Zero stars if I could. Posted on August 18, 2015 |
Apologies for your experience - we will redouble our efforts to get more accurate listings. |

★★★★☆ KFC DO SERVE Halal but not on all stores. I have visited the one at Silom Rd, Bankgkok, Siam Centre BKK and one in Pattaya. They all confirmed it was halal. I also got them to show me the evidence so they produced packs of chicken and potato mash with Halal certifications on the packaging. They also use vegetable oil and there was NO Pork/ham/bacon served in these outlets.
I also spoke to home delivery ,they told me on phone that the outlets managed by "Robinsons Bangarak" are Halal not the other ones. So if you are making a home delivery order or visiting a KFC in BKK you can double check for your satisfaction before you make any order Posted on January 21, 2011 |

Please refer to the Halal Standard Institute of Thailand's website:

NR How can asparagus become non-halal when it's prepared as soup? In this case where KFC staffs assured customers that the raw chicken has a verification of HALAL, what will make it non-halal when cooked? As far as I know, KFC do not serve any other type of meat except for some Fish and Shrimp prepared as burgers? So, how can the HALAL chicken be contaminated to become non-halal when the spices used to marinate the chicken are from herbs? Can someone please explain this? I desperately need assurance. Thank you. Posted on September 7, 2009 |

NR KFC in thailand is not HALAL. If you are in nana area there are a lots of muslim restaurants at sukumvit soi 3. Halal raw chicken did not mean that the cooked one is halal. It depends on the ingredients and cookers which should not be used by haram meal. Let' s take asparagus soup as a sample. Asparagus is surely halal. But when it was cooked to asparagus soup then this asparagus soup is not a must halal meal. It depends on ingredients and soup that is used to cook this asparagus soup. Posted on June 25, 2009 |

NR I am local Muslim. I stop eating kfc chicken since the Hallal authority in Thailand didn't authorize Hallal sign anymore. One can never rely on the staff's assurance. They don't know even what Hallal is.They just want to sale their products only and i don't think that you will see muslim patrons as shilme said.If there is please see what they order surely drink not food.I did my duty as local muslim.Wassalam Posted on April 10, 2007 |

★☆☆☆☆ Assalamu Alaikum,
As a Thai Muslim I have asked the official who issues the Halal license. He said that KFC is NO LONGER a Halal establishment. Their license was revoked after failing to maintain the requirements issued by the Thai Halal centre.
One can't really rely on the staff to assure whether it is Halal or not.
Well for me it is best to avoid when in doubt. Posted on March 4, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ The only halal KFC in Bangkok i know of (That does not serve pork on their menu!) is located at the basement of Siam Paragon,Bangkok. Posted on February 1, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ According to the staff, there were halal sign on the window before, but they said there's certain fees they have to pay to carry the sign! And you only get the assurance from the staff. Another source said their chicken supplied by CP which is known for their halal slaughtery...waallahuallam. However i met many muslims patrons...so i have no doubts! Posted on January 28, 2007 |
