★★★★★ My experience was totally unlike the previous reviews. We went for the lunch buffet, and I felt it was worth it. The food was tasty, hot, and it was not all bones. They came and refilled the water at the right times. The atmosphere was very classy; rare for a halal restaurant. The chilli chicken was so good, as was the chicken tikka masala. There were 2 dessert choices: gulab jamun and rice pudding. Both were good. This is a great place to take your spouse and enjoy halal food.
UPDATE 4/11/12: I called and unfotunately they confirmed they do have alcohol. It is not listed as a beverage on their website nor have I ever seen it served, but if I were still in the area I would stop patronizing the restaurant because of this. Posted on April 11, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ I can confirm that this restaurant sells and serves alcohol. I had been there earlier with my co-workers without knowing that they sold alcohol. Two servers confirmed it for me on my LAST visit. And one of them even went as far as mentioning that Walmart sold alcohol. Please read the following hadith and see why it is HARAM. What do you think yo are doing by patronizing someone who calls himself a muslim and is intentionally disobeying Allah openly in public. Yes, alcohol is not listed on thier menu, you might want to wonder why?
Hadith - Al-Tirmidhi #2776, Narrated Anas ibn Malik
It was narrated that ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allaah and the Last Day, let him not sit at a table where wine is being drunk.”
Allah's Messenger cursed ten people in connection with wine: the wine-presser, the one who has it pressed, the one who drinks it, the one who conveys it, the one to whom it is conveyed, the one who serves it, the one who sells it, the one who benefits from the price paid for it, the one who buys it, and the one for whom it is bought.
- Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it. Posted on March 15, 2012 |
We have modified the listing to show that they serve alcohol |

★★★★☆ Quality of food fluctuates a lot. They're not consistent, but it's worth trying. However, I do not recommend catering from there. Posted on January 11, 2012 |

★★★★☆ This place is clean, which is not the norm for Muslim restaurants, and the customer service is good. The food is hot and tasty although I will agree that it has slipped a bit from the time it was Peacock. As far as what has been said earlier I was unaware they served alcohol and really detest Muslims selling alcohol, but that does not make the food not halal. Posted on May 24, 2011 |

★★★★★ Khansab, the country you're living is not halal. Wal mart sell alcohol, do you stop going walmart? If you don't know anything for sure, don't comment. If you follow the relgion so closely, you should know lieing is a sin also. Posted on January 27, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ i disagree with tucson_muslimas comment, first of all the sell alcohol and the meat is definately not halal. i dont know about you but i cant trust a guy who sells alcohol and says he uses halal meat. second of all the food tastes bad and very expensive. in my opinion its not worth it. ★★★★★ Went for the weekend buffet. This is the nicest desi restaurant we went to, and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The buffet itself was quite good, there was a huge variety of food, from pani puri to aloo pakora, palak paneer, bhindi, chicken salan, goat salan, tanduri chicken, and chicken 65 (something I have seen only in St. Louis--tastes great). Their rasmalai and fresh fruit was also very good.
Overall, I would say that it might not have been the best desi restaurant we went to food-wise, but definitely worth it for the variety and great/clean atmosphere. The buffet was also very reasonably priced... Posted on July 6, 2009 |

★★★★★ I give it 5 stars for the weekend buffet and that's all I can recommend. Other days it's "okay" and the dinner is crazy expensive. Posted on March 30, 2009 |

★★★★★ Excellent food. We ordered lamb rogan josh and chicken makhani. Probably the best sauce/curry we tasted. Much much better than typical Indian style food.
Also, very nice decor and service. Posted on November 2, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Very tastey food, and great service. It is pricey, but the portions are good and the food is great. Very clean and nice eating enviornment. They close between lunch and dinner. They are only open until 9 pm on sunday Posted on July 29, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ The owner says he gets Zabihah food but when i asked him his sources, he did not have a answer. The food also is not very good, it is the Americanize version of desi food. i ordered mix vegetables and it was filled with whipping cream.
NOT RECCOMMANDED Posted on February 8, 2008 |
