★☆☆☆☆ By far, the worst service I EVER had. If there were zero stars, I will give it to them. It’s really a shame that this restaurant is still open. We had a pre-wedding reception done there recently (12-24-2013)… one of the biggest mistake I’ve made in my life. They served the food with paper plates and Styrofoam cups. WHO DOES THAT? No waiters either? These things are so obvious for any restaurant. On top of all this, the heating unit on the hall went bad prior to the reception start time. The manager said they will fix it before the party. Four hours later, it’s still not fixed. The manager did not even hire an AC and heating electrician. He was the cook from the kitchen who was trying to fix the heating system. WHO DOES THAT? All the guests were disappointed. The reception ended and still no heating system on. We actually ended up doing some of the reception in the public restaurant portion. IF YOU HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR YOURSELF, AVOID THIS PLACE. I MEAN IT. I AM NOT MAKING THIS STUFF UP. I actually reported them to the Virginia BBB as well. Posted on December 31, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ If I could give less than 1 star, I would. We go to this restaurant all the time, but after today s visit, we will never go there again. The service was pathetic, the food was awful. My wife, I and my parents went there for lunch. It took 20 minutes before we got menus. The place wasn't even busy. The food looked and tasted like it was cooked a few days ago. The two brothers that own the place were going to other tables asking how everything was but did not even come to our table once. Instead of asking us if we want anything else or want any desert, the server said You all don t need anything else, right? Posted on May 6, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Definitely worth the money! Posted on March 9, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ Your getting average food. I eat at many restaurants from NY, VA. Quality of their food has gotten down. Food is not fresh all the time. Sometime food would taste good, and other times it's below average. I would not recommend this place. Posted on March 27, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Not the best tasting desi restaraunt in Springfield, but food was fair enough. We tried an assortment of kababs and naan. I've definitely had better, however, I still left here somewhat satisfied. Posted on October 24, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ I do not know who will be happy going there.
I ordered the food from them and i couldn't finish all so i asked for the box one server was kind enough to get me a two boxes. Because he can it was a lot and can not fit in one box. In the mean while may be two min later owner of the Restaurant came and he asked us with anger who gave you two Boxes and we were shocked what happen to him, any ways with out warning he pick up one of the box from our table and take it away, he sound crazy and act like the box is SOOO SOOO Expensive item.
So i declare him MEAN.
Before that i was with my friends and we had buffet, i was trying to search for Meat in Pulao , while he approach me and ask me can he help me with some thing? when i asked him for meat in the Pulao he gets mad at me and replied fresh pulao is coming. He bring the dish and said here you are !!! he pointed out at the few cubes of meat.
I went there two times and always have bad exp.
The owner is so mean and always keep an eye on people what they are eating and shows bad behavior. Posted on March 25, 2009 |

★★★★★ Great food and even better environment. Try the seekh kabob and the haleem (ask for very little spice); it's just amazing. Non-spicy chickpeas add to the flavor. Posted on May 15, 2008 |

★★☆☆☆ The design of the place is really nice, but unfortunately the food is not that good. 4 or 5 years ago it was pretty good and cheaper but since then their standard has really gotten low. Their bathrooms are very bad and they do make a lot of mistakes. The only good thing really is their Chutney. Posted on April 6, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ It seems as if since they are established now, they do not care anymore. Their food is no where near what is used to be. Posted on June 19, 2007 |

★☆☆☆☆ I do agree that the food is over priced. the food was of poor quality, not tasty, not fresh. The service was not that great either. you get treated based on how u look . will never go there again. Posted on June 18, 2007 |

★☆☆☆☆ I went to this place with my family several years ago. I remember the food was of poor quality, not tasty, not fresh. The service was not that great either. Quite fittingly the only thing I remember that was good about this place was their chutney. I really did like all their different kinds of chutney, but thats about it. Thumbs down. ★★★★☆ Great Pakistani food. I can understand it's not cheap to run business in U.S. I speak from experience. So prices are not bad at all. If you are ever not satisfied with food at all just take it back like you would at Olive Garden. When ever I complained they took care of it right away. Reason would be they are always so busy taking care of so many customers it is understandable if the food was ever not to your satisfaction. So when ever I, wife and kids go to this restaurant we go to enjoy great food with open heart. I can care less about the outlook; I go to restaurant to enjoy good food. Go with the intention to enjoy food not with the intention to compare this restaurant with some billion dollar International Chain. After this food you would need a good nap (siesta). ★★☆☆☆ The restaurant is pretty and the lunch buffet is worth it. One time we received food that had gone bad. However, most of the times I've eaten there, the food was ok. Posted on July 12, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ Appearance wise it looks nice.. yes they do overcharge and compared to Aabshar down the street its much better. Just go there for Chicken Tikkas Boneless.. those are good. Salad looks old and not fresh, and plates/silverware are not that clean. The Bathroom is a joke, I dont even think 2 people can fit in there. We need to make some better high class Pakistani Restaurants Posted on December 10, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ If you go to this place, look over your bill, every single time ive been there, ive been overcharged by about 10-15 dollars. it cant be a coincidence. Posted on June 7, 2004 |

★★★★☆ Never tried their buffet but their breakfast was GREAT - we ordered the halwa puri and chanas as well as omelette parathas and it was all YUMMY - the dood patti was also very good. I'm definitely going back there again for breakfast! Posted on May 26, 2004 |

★★★★☆ I do agree that the food is over priced. But the food was really good. We had lamb chops, seekh kabob, and chicken pulau (sp?)... The service was good as well. Posted on March 30, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ Well absolutely not worth going place. Too much over priced, compare to Abshaar which is down the road. Posted on March 4, 2004 |

★★★★☆ I enjoy going to Chutney. The food is a lot better, esp compared to Abshar which is down the street. Yes, they are a bit overpriced but it pays off... esp the bihari kabab and chicken biryani. Posted on January 13, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ It has stale food and lazy waiters/waitresses. Food is not cooked well and wife jokes about service and cleanliness. Would not recommend. Posted on December 6, 2003 |

★★★☆☆ Lousy and overpriced. Posted on February 14, 2003 |

★★★★☆ Good table service restaurant, better than Aabshaar down the street. Servings size could be a little larger for the price they charge. Big screen TV good addition especially during Cricket Matches. Posted on January 31, 2003 |

★★★★☆ Nice and clean family restaurant. They serve daily Buffet and Halwa Puri over the weekend. They open at 11AM for the Halwa Puri on the weekends. Just this past weekend I tried their Halwa Puri and was pretty good. I plan to check their Buffet as it looked good and they had Saag and Kheer as part of the Buffet...Yum Yum. The restaurant is conveniently located in Springfield, just a couple of minutes from I-95. So if you are on I-95 towards NewYork or goind towards Florida side make sure you plan to eat at this place. I promise you will like the food. They also have a party Hall for your gatherings and parties. Posted on January 28, 2003 |

★★☆☆☆ Very congested at all times when I went...If looking for a quite atmosphere, would not recommend. Some of the food is not properly cooked. Ok food. Posted on January 7, 2003 |

★★★★★ Excellent food, especially the chicken tikkas and the beef kabab. The service is good and orders are taken in an orderly fashion. Plenty of ornaments from Pakistan done in brass to buy. I highly recommend this place! The staff are respectful and nice. Not your average run-of-the-mill feeding-the-masses kind of restaurant. Mr. Ali Raza did an excellent job with the catering service and prices every time. Posted on December 27, 2001 |

★☆☆☆☆ The Buffet Chicken was smelly and the rice was 1 day old- and the lemon was rotten. The dinner had dirt and the taste was very screechy. Posted on August 27, 2001 |

★★★★★ If Allah had continued to send ""Man-o-Salwa"" it must have tasted like the food here. ( Try the quail ) I have not been to a resturant that can outdo this one in all my years in the US. From lamb shanks to Nihari to Kababs to Biryaani all dishes are devine. The staff to my amazement, acted like rookies but I will take this place over any other any time. An abundance of handicrafts from Pakistan add up to the ambiance of the place. A must go place for any lover of desi food. Posted on June 20, 2000 |
