★☆☆☆☆ I was deceived by the good reviews here so I went to that place and ordered 3 meat shawermas and 1 chicen shawerma. The meat tasted gamey and smelled so bad it was unpalatable at all. The chicken shawerma tasted slightly better but was not cremotely close to the taste of shawerma. Also the garlic sauce was no where to be found. We struggled to finish the sandwiches but we were so hungry we could have eaten from the trash.
Very very disappointed...urghhh!!! Posted on February 1, 2016 |

NR After a disaster yesterday, finally tried a good place today. Nice ambience and friendly staff. Food was good. We ordered chicken shawarma and sheesh tawook. Garlic sauce is too good! I wish I had known they serve bread with hummus, salad, and olive oil as a complimentary appetizer. Would have ordered less then ;) Overall, recommended as a decent Mediterranean place! ★★★★★ Excellent food and service. I am picky with quality of lamb and beef but all meat items taste amazing here. Lamb, beef and chicken. Also, reasonably priced. Posted on March 7, 2015 |

★★★★★ Very good food. The staff/owners are very nice. All the dishes we had were very good, they even have fresh baklava and a huge variety. The last time I tasted baklava this good was from a very famous bakery in Jordan.
Very clean and spacious inside. Posted on August 13, 2014 |

★★★★★ The best in San Antonio !! I have been there ever since they opened ( 4mo) almost everyday !! Their food is authentic, halal, fresh. I like their variety of Shawarmas , pizza-like bread w cheese or meat, different salads like fatoosh and tabulli, different kind kabobs, my husbands fav is the lamb shanks dinner with babaganoosh side order and u can order dessert from as huge variety with hot mint tea or Turkish coffee !!! Weekends I take my 4 kiddos and they love the Shawarmas w fries or their special hummus ! Family, relaxing friendly environment !!!! Posted on March 16, 2014 |

★★★★★ One of the very few places I really like. Sarokh is their speciality. Bread filled with beef, lamb or check ken with vegetables. They have some awesome fresh made traditional sweets. Kunafa, baklava something with coconut and cookies. Posted on March 13, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ Food is really good but service is horrible. We were seated quickly but forgotten about. Had to get our own menus but after they saw that they took our orders quickly. Our waitress was really confused and had to consistenly ask for our side orders, had to ask for missed and forgotten items. We were a group of 8 so they maybe theyre not used to that volume but its obvious there needs to be more order and communication between kitchen and staff. Posted on February 14, 2014 |
