★★★☆☆ I did like their Gyro~ Posted on November 3, 2013 |

|
★☆☆☆☆ Service and food choices/quality have deteriorated and price is ridiculously high for the options. I'm not going here anymore Posted on November 2, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Excellent food and good prices Posted on September 24, 2013 |

NR I love their Gyro Sandwich! always good! and fast Posted on September 3, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ We visited last on Jan 5, 2013. Sadly, the management has changed since Dec 2012. Since then, the price has gone up a couple of dollars, and the quality of the food has declined dramatically.
We used to visit this place frequently, but I can no longer recommend this place any more. Posted on January 20, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Lunch Buffet is okay. Waiting staff is attentive, place is clean. The food is just average - the veggie dishes and the fried fish needed flavor, but the gyro and chicken were good. Dessert is fruit, jello and rice pudding. Given the limited selection and average food, $11.99 seems like a lot though. This city has better options. Posted on January 4, 2013 |

NR Their chicken is not halal they have been lying to their customers they should write it down or tell their customers Posted on May 17, 2012 |
We will look into this. Can anyone else confirm? |
|
|
NR Called this place today to confirm if they serve Halal. The first lady on the phone said yes everything is Halal. Wwhen asked if it's Zabihah, she put another lady on the phone who said their meat has a "Halal" stamp on it but she doesn't think it is Zabihah. Posted on April 23, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ I went with my husband and a friend. My tobolih salad tasted grainy like the parsley had not been washed before making the salad. We had problems getting refills on our drinks. I found out the owner had a problem with me being white and married to an Arabic man, I was called a name that I will not repeat. Posted on July 5, 2011 |

★★★★☆ I've been going there for over 3 years when ever I have a chance to come to Dallas. It's a peaceful quite place. Service is good and so is the food. They have a good buffet, but they should add more variety. They cook everything fresh. It's a must try area! Posted on March 20, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Their meat dishes are very good, but everything else is below average. Posted on September 25, 2010 |

★★★★☆ ive visited this place many times, it has become a favorite of mine, i usually like mediterranean places for their kabab and rice and they have pretty good of both, their hummus is just average, their grilled chicken is good esp. when it's just off the grill , same goes for the kabab, they have this fried eggplant dish with yogurt sauce that i really like also, they serve veg. dishes also and best thing is that it's buffet all day, desserts below avg. but i dont care too much im usually too stuffed to eat more...staff is very friendly but i think the owner can put some effort in making conv. with returning customers such as myself, shes not very customer oriented it seems, but staff is nice Posted on December 4, 2009 |

★★★★★ Good restaurant. Excellent combination. I recently moved to Dallas and this is a great mid eastern restaurant. I have lived in Dearborn and know the Mid eastern taste. I can compare it with any good restaurant in the Dearborn or even Dubai. Launch buffet is good and cheap. Posted on July 10, 2008 |

★★★★☆ I love this place. I've only been to the buffet and it has always met my expectations. The food is fresh and plentiful. The chicken kababs are my fav. Fresh bread, many salads, beef kebab, rice, and meat and veggie entrees.
The only thing lacking is the dessert. They serve this arab jello type stuff. I have no idea what it is, and really don't care to know.
You can get a good coupon out of the Muslim yellow pages too. Posted on August 26, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Okay, because we live in Tennesse, we've only been to this place 4-5 times. Here are my comments:
1) Very good food. Gyros are awesome, and chicken brochettes are just as good.
2) Service is great.
3) Variety lacks a little bit.
4) There is NO sign at the window like some have said. There is a certificate of halal inside where the cash register is but it's DATED 2003!! My husband asked the lady what about 2004-2006, and the lady (cute and kinda chubby looking. We always thought she was the owner!), she kinda evaded the question and said "Oh, i dont know, my brother is the owner." It's funny how when my father first asked to speak to the owner to know if it's halal or not, she said SHE is??!
5) Chicken is NOT HALAL! When we first entered 2 wks ago, my father asked that same lady if the meat is halal. She said "yes". My father asked "EVERYTHING?" and she said, "well, actually, everything except for the chicken...To be honnest with you, even the lamb is halal"
6) I would have rated this place EXCELLENT, but we were disappointed that during all of our previous visits we had been eating haram chicken and we didnt know! :( Posted on January 13, 2006 |

★★★☆☆ When I was in Dallas, I used to go there almost every weekend. The place is nice with assurance of Zabiha meat. I wish they improve and make more varieties on their bufet. Still, every time I visit Dallas I will go again. Posted on December 22, 2005 |

★★★★★ I don't think that you will find a better buffet in Dallas...everything was great, especially the chicken.
The buffet hours are long too, so that's always nice!
And you can order mango juice with your buffet! Posted on August 12, 2004 |

★★★★★ excellent, fresh buffet--only suggestion is that falafel should be included in the buffet.otherwise, theres enough different food to satisfy everyone's tases and it's delicious!! Posted on February 15, 2004 |

★★★★★ Excellent Halal food. this is a great place to go for a fresh, tasty and cheap buffet. service is excellent. Posted on February 14, 2004 |

★★★★★ I was happy to find that they have a dinner buffet, not just lunch. Everything was really tasty- hummus, baba ganouj, salad, grilled veggies, boneless grilled chicken, gyro meat, kafta, 2 kinds of rice, seasoned chicken w/ bone, soup and desserts. There was more on the buffet, but you'll get stuffed pretty easily! The service was unobtrusive, the waitress just delivered drinks and pitas to the table and you can pick wherever you want to sit. I really liked the atmosphere- dimly lit, new interior, very clean, easy location at 75&Beltline. This is a great place to go since the food will please everyone in your group-- not spicy, just good food. Posted on February 13, 2004 |

★★★★☆ This got really good reviews from the Dallas Morning News. Not only does it have cute decor (rare for some ethnic restaurants), but the menu is tasty, too. Kebab plates, mezze, falafel, pita, the usual Mid-Eastern fare, but the drinks looked especially interesting with sour cherry and pomegranate juices. They also have that strong Arabian coffee and pastries like baklava for dessert! Yum! Posted on January 19, 2004 |

★★★★★ I discovered this restaurant in early 2003 and found the buffet delightful. The vast array of foods was fresh and delicious and I must say it satisfied my pallate for mid-eastern food immensely. I give it a thumbs up and reccommend it to everybody. Posted on January 16, 2004 |
