★★★★★ Food: This place serves a combination of Moroccon and standard American fast food fare. There is also a daily buffet which is also quite common for such places. It usually has a chicken, a fish and a lamb dish that you can pair with rice or bread.
We got shawarma and a steak & cheese sub. Food was great. Shawarma, specifically, has the softest pita bread I've ever had with a shawarma. Nothing there that wouldn't make me want to try more of their stuff.
Value for Money: The food is either on par or cheaper than you'd expect. Shawarma and sub were 6.50 pre-tax which is cheaper than I'd expect. Also, from what I saw with other customers, the servings on the buffet are huge. Doesn't matter how much they charge for it. It's probably going to be worth the value.
Atmosphere: This is really the only disappointing part but I've come to expect it from halal only places. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd imagine if you've been to any other similar establishment. Standard wooden furniture, TV on playing some arabic channel, etc. It's fine if you just drop in for a bite or for take-away but it's definitely not a the "let's go out for nice family dinner cause I got a raise" joint.
Overall pretty good though. Would go back. Posted on April 4, 2016 |
