★★★★★ Excellent Turkish restaurant. The complaints are from fundamentalist Salafists who persecute normal Muslims. Posted on January 30, 2016 |

NR The worst ever!
We sat, the waitress got us warm water, I asked twice for ice and he didn't bother to answer although the place was empty, my husband asked him again and the answer was 'I heard she asked me twice' and walked away!!! Seriously ?? How rude .. Prices are exaggerated and worse customer service will not put a feet there again Posted on August 21, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ Very bad customer service. I have been here 5 times since i moved to Columbus and today is the last day i will give this restaurant my business.
Someone should teach the twin girls how to properly host. When you get seated, the host should check to see if there are enough napkins, utensils, and appetizer plates on the table.
It took 10 minutes before the waiter came over with water and left for another 5 to 6 minutes. We ordered the kids meal first and I specifically stated "first of all let's get a chicken kebob for the kids". Well they brought the kids meal out 30 minutes after and 3 minutes before the main course came out. my kids filled up on bread and cold appetizers. A group of 4 white people who came in after us got their appetizers and main course before us.
The other waiter sat at the bar and started talking to his friend right in front of us. Apparently, the customer's needs are not their top priority.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST THEY HAVE GNATS FLYING AROUND INSIDE THE RESTAURANT.
Sorry but they have just lost a customer for good. It's a shame. Do not waste your hard earned money going here. Posted on December 26, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ Hi, I was in this resturant with my daughter and son, the food was so expensive. I did not expect the price, moreover, I paid them total invoice and I added the tips too. Unfortunately the following day I discovered they over charge my credit card more than what I signed for. I called them and the lady said she will cal me back but she never did. Even she asked me go my number I gave it to her and the over charge money not refunded to my account yet. Posted on October 18, 2013 |

★★★★☆ The food here is above average.
Portions are huge, so the price did not bother me.
The presence of alcohol is annoying though. Posted on May 20, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ AOA, I had a very bad experience with the service here at this restaurant. We were looking for halal food in that area and stopped at this restaurant. It was around 5 pm and we were planning to eat some sandwiches. I went inside, looked at the menu and asked the staff/waitors if they are serving any sandwiches. They showed me in the menu and then I told them I am going to bring my family inside and they said sure. I brought all my family in and we picked our table. As soon as we picked our sandwiches a waitor came to take order and told us that sandwiches are only carryout. I questioned him why did you ask me to bring my family in and he started getting rude. He didn't say sorry and we ended up leaving without eating (I had my old mom and an infant with me) . I won't go there again. They need to learn some manners and try to be respectful and polite to the customers. Posted on October 13, 2008 |

★★★★★ My husband and i had dinner there and it was very good food. They have removed the bar and do not serve alcohol any longer. i also didnt think that it was expensive. It is a sit down cafe with wait staff so the price is similar to other comparable chain restaraunts. We will we back :) Posted on July 22, 2008 |

★★★★★ exceptional food. I have eaten in Istanbul and this is every bit as good. The service was quick, friendly, and professional.
I believe the one gentleman that came to our table was the owner. He was very sincere and friendly. I read the reviews before i went and thought the price would be high, but it really was not. For three of us we were able to eat 2 large orders, appetizers, drinks (non alcoholic) for about 20.00 each. Posted on May 16, 2008 |

★★★★★ The food was excellent. Service was good for the most part except for at the end the server disappeared after he brought us our boxes for our food. Restaurant is pretty pricey. Chicken breast kebob dinner was 12.95 and combo two types of kebob dinner was 14.95. Both meals come with a very flavorful rice side and some veggies. Didn't have time to try the desert. Nice outdoor seating area. Owner made it a point to inform us that they removed the bar from the restaurant, i guess that means they no longer serve alcoholic drinks! mashaAllah! ★★★★★ This has become one of my favorite places to eat. They have a lunch special, for $9.00 you get appetizer, main entree and dessert. The almond pudding is delicious. Doner Kebab is wonderful. All food is halal. Only thing is that they serve alcohol. =( Everything else is great! Posted on January 9, 2008 |

★★★★★ This was an excellent restaurant, but is no longer in business. There is a new restuarant in its place, Cafe Shish Kabob. The new place serves Turkish Food, and is good. Portions are large, and prices are about the same as other Turkish restaurants. Atmosphere is also nice, much more formal than before. They serve no alcohol, and serve refills on their beverages. ★★☆☆☆ I have been to the place and I asked about the food and its halal. However, the food does not taste well and I hope it gets better. its very casual and the shawrma is not cooked on a spit but done on a grill. Posted on September 15, 2004 |

★★★★★ It is a new resturant. The resturant is owned and run by a trusted Muslim. All the food and drinks are Halal. Prices are acceptable if not low. Currently, they accept cash only. Posted on July 22, 2004 |
