★★★★★ Most flavorful Zabiha food in Portland. The owner is Very sweet and hospitable. The portions were large, food cooked to order, and was extremely flavorful. The setting is a bit small and dark, more of a hole in the wall joint, but the food makes up for everything. Chicken and beef sambusas were pretty much indian samosas, but it had been so long since we had proper samosas that we didnt care. The Somali steak was spicy flavorful pasinda meat strips cooked with onions and tomatoes, extremely tasty. The combo grill plotter came with one skewer of a big fat beef kabob and two skewers of chicken and grilled onions and tomatoes. we will definitely come back and try more things on the menu. ★★★★☆ Overall, it's very good food. We had a large party ( 20) and they greeted us very warmly. Everything was freshly cooked and tasted great aH. The chicken kabob and mixed grill are pretty spicy. The somali steak is delicious! Ample portion sizes and friendly service. Not the cleanest bathroom, but they have a clean space to pray. Posted on July 7, 2012
