★★★★★ Simply amazing. Great Service great food. Went with coworkers and everybody loved the food and the service. Its little different than traditional Mediterrranean food which was the best part. It is more of a gulf region food, I guess. everything was simply great and amazing. Made fresh. Kabobs were served at the table. Owner is a well known muslim of the DFW area. People who used to go to World Food Warehouse (behind TI) some 10-15 years ago know him real well. This place is highly recommended. Posted on November 7, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ I was a regular customer there since it was Meat Matters. I have known all the owners there since I was also a business owner near by. I have known the current owner since day one when my family started our business.
I used to only get goat from them. My last 3-4 experiences have been terrible. I got a goat for Aqiqa for my daughter from them. The goat meat stunk, there was a lot of fat, the pieces were cut up odd, meat was hard to cook, and the price was way high and no goat feet, even though requested and paid for the whole goat. Same thing happend last year eid ul adha, the goat I had slaughtered and brought over to get cut up, they sold the goat feet to some one else, Ok fine, I said no more buying from them. So last night I had my wife take a frozen Zabihah halal goat from Australia that she got from Restaurant depot to Ruz Al Bukhari to get it cut up into pieces. Right away the owner (old man) says $50, mind you I have always paid $15-20 for making pieces since the this location opened. Either for Eid-Ul-Adha or regular slaughter from the farm for my restaurant. This goat was already cut up in big parts. My wife quickly told him hey I am the wife of so and so. He said on ok $25 for you. Then she had me speak to him I said whats going on why are you jacking up the price? He says it is what it is take it or leave. I told my wife to take and leave, I'll get it done else where. Before she could leave he said ok I do it for $22 and just takes it from her. Wife calls me back and tells me I said ok. How long, she was told 30 minutes. Turned out to be 1.5 hours. Then when payment time came, my wife didn't have cash had card so he said no cash no take goat. Mind you she is wanting to pay and he is refusing a form of payment and holding the goat against it. Then when my wife said ok we will talk to young female (the owners daughter) about being able to pay over the phone he says the hell with her and the hell with you. All you Pakistanis are like this, Pakistanis this Pakistanis that. There was no need for the old man to start yelling and become racist. I tried to reach young female owner but was not getting any answers, I called the old man to find out what actually happened he hung up on me. If this is the way he treats his customers then I dont' know how long they will last. I try to support them because we had such friendly business terms. But this guy didn't realize that he is yelling and cursing at a woman. My wife left saying to (old man owner) that this will be the last time we will ever step into your place of business. I am very disappointed and angry with how rudly the owner behaved. Please don't go to this business ever again if you respect your self and if you don't want to be insulted. Take your money else where.
I have been requested by owners son to remove the owners names. Posted on December 29, 2015 |

★★★★★ This is my first visit and Inshallah it will not be the last one! Amazing food with Middle Eastern Pakistani, Indian,Turkish. The best Kabobs in Dallas by far and the best Buffett off course in Texas!

★★★☆☆ The quality has gone down since the last time I visited. Iftar buffet was $15 and only the chicken kabobs and falafel were good. All the rice items were stale and the rice was getting hard. The tomato sauce that goes with the ruz bukhari also changed consistency and is now more like a chinese hot sauce. Customer service is slow or non existent at this place. Posted on July 9, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ I went here recently in hopes of getting a good meal of Bukhari rice and other rice delicacies. I was a bit surprised to find that this is the same location as Meat Matters/ Krispino Pizza before. They have completely revamped the shop to give it a nice restaurant feel. Another surprise was that they serve full fledged Mediterranean buffet even for dinner. Last surprise was that they ran out of rice and some other dishes or were pretty slow in filling up.
Overall food is decent and kebab is served fresh on table as per order of chicken or beef. Hopefully the wait for buffet to fill up was just an exception. I might pay a visit if they improve. Posted on February 13, 2015 |

★★★★☆ I am impressed with revamp of this place. They have made it into a spacious restaurant with pretty decent ambiance. came here for their 11.99 lunch buffet and was impressed. it's not your typical middle eastern buffet place. they specialize in saudi/jordanian/and egyptian food. the lamb and eggplant were my favorites. this place def has more rice/curry dishes and less grill. service was excellent. will def come back if i am near west plano masjid. ★★★★☆ Not your typical Shawarma gyro hummus place. :)
This place has traditional Kabsa, Mandi, Ruz Bukhari and Lamb/chicken curries and kabaabs.
Good service.
Food has potential to be awesome if quality kept consistent.
Quality can vary some days and time of the day but overall OK !!!
Chances are you might get stale food since its a buffet.
Ill happily switch from 4 to 5 stars when i see consistency in quality... :) Posted on December 27, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ The place closes at 9. I went around 8 with couple of my friends. The place was deserted. Most of the food you can tell was sitting for hours. The host was nice and the place was not bad either.
If you know what real Saudi Kapsa is, then you would appreciate this place. Very authentic and tastes almost as good as I make at home :-)
Everything else... eeeh..I don't know can't say. The food as I mentioned earlier was stale and the server asked us if we want chicken or beef kabab. You can only chose one I guess, and only was served per person. It was a buffet but you can have only one kabab.
Needs improvement but I think place has potential. Wish them the best. Posted on December 15, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ First of all this is halal restaurant, they also have a linked small halal meat shop. Clean restaurant, plates, forks, tables, floor all good. I'm surprised the bathroom isn't sparking clean given how new this place is but is reasonable.
Shafi, the owner attentive, pleasant, courteous, prompt, knowledgeable service.
So far I've only seen the buffet service, with take out. Food quality is is medium-high quality.. The occasional dud offering, the specialty appears to be the rice and meat which is definitely different to what you will find at Fadis or Dimmasis. These larger family chains of restaurants are more Mediterranean Arab verus Ruz Al Bukhari's specialty on Persian/Arabian Gulf area cooking styles. Can't really compare RAB to those chains because they're much bigger. If you're vegetarian there is enough veg dishes to choose from again though nothing like Fadis/Dimassis.
My favourite is the Mundi chicken rice offered thursdays, meat balls, beef stew, baked egg plant, these are all excellent and pretty much the best you'll get anywhere.
Price is comparable to other buffets, family of 5 about $50-$60. (They love kids)
Simple improvement could be to offer a fresh brewed coffee or tea with the Baklava.
A welcome alternative in our local neighborhood, on the south corner of Coit and West Spring Creek Parkway. I wish the business all the best.
Overall I recommend a visit. Posted on November 27, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Interesting new addition to Halal food scene in plano area. This place is not about dumping meat cooked mediterranean style. These are authentic gulf dishes. It was a pleasant surprise to see Mandi and Kabsa on the menu. Bukhari Rice (known in Arabic as Ruz al Bukhari) is there anyways as the name suggests. Overall a nice experience with lots of choice as they offer lunch and dinner buffet. Owner is from Palestine and is very friendly and treats customers very well. Posted on November 22, 2014 |

★★★★☆ In all of Plano/Dallas area they have the best Biryani and really good Buffet with lots of choices and delicious food. I have been to some of the other buffet but this is par all other Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants. The owner is very humble and came forward to talk about all the dishes it was a very good experience going here with family. Will highly recommend to friends and visit again soon.
