★★★★★ I have eaten here multiple times and have always had a meal that was simply superb in taste and piping hot. It's the only Pakistani restaurant in Dallas I can say that about.
Just be prepared for a 20-30 minute wait for grilled items. If you're already hungry that wait can easily be offset by calling in what you want 15 minutes before you arrive. They also bring out a small salad shortly after you place your order so that should tide the hungrier members of your group.
The facility is neat and clean with large family style dining tables.
The service is generally good but sometimes to speed things along at the end of the meal it's better to take your ticket and payment to the cash register or you could end up waiting a while to leave.
The owners and wait staff are very nice, polite, easy going people. No attitude, just hard working. Posted on June 22, 2014 |

★★★★★ I've pretty much tried every desi restaurant in the dfw area and this place is by far the best pakistani bbq place in town ... whoever reads this must try it out!!
Unlike any other desi restaurant, bundu khan is much cleaner and their food is excellent .. once you try it you can tell the food is fresh and tastes authentic .. I'm gonna stop wasting my money at other desi places in town and give my business to this place ..
I would strongly encourage the management to keep up the good work and dont compromise on quality .. Posted on May 14, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ I went to this restaurant after sooo many recommendations from my friends. The food was ok but the restaurant was not that clean and the staff was not that helpful. Posted on July 16, 2014 |

NR I'm not going here for the name alone. Other then that the praiseworthy thing is that they serve halal food. Posted on July 15, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ Food is pretty good. My only complaint was that there is this random trash can which is pretty large right next to you when you are in the line to order. Like why would you put a smelly trash can next to your customers when they are trying to order? Posted on November 9, 2013 |
Thanks for your review and like our food, I'm always open for suggestions and after your review we moved trash. Looking forward to see you soon again, InshAllah |

★★★★★ Someone recently told my husband about Bundoo Khan Plano while we were at BBQ Tonite and today we went there first time and I git to say they do know how to do Tikka, Kebab and love the deep fried pratha, only bad part is we have to wait almost an hour but thats a part of getting fresh food on table, can't wait to go there again. My husband alreadt deside to have my daughter's birthday party there, Insh Allah Posted on October 14, 2013 |

★★★★★ I never do any reviews but if I don't like like it any restaurant I don't go again, but after reading all these reviews psecially from alzappiro, Addison, TX I desided to write and say they have the best desi BBQ I ever eat in North America. Let me answer this guy first of all you should be ashamed to insult anyone and you might never had fresh food thats why you don't know you have to wait. This smarty have complains about all restaurants one work for him "Jerk" Posted on September 8, 2013 |

|
★★★★★ Although we had to wait for sometime, every minute of it was worth it! The food was so fresh and delicious! They had television and air conditioning on, so it was a very welcoming and peaceful place to be. It was my first time in Texas, and I must admit, Bundoo khan was my favorite place to go to with my family every day of my vacation. I have never eaten in a place with great, tender, well cooked meat! The naan were also so fresh and soft. You must also try their delicious mango lassi! Posted on September 6, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Don't be deceived like me by the name.
Service was slow and food was lame.
Owners should definitely be ashamed.
Sorry, I will never go here again. Posted on September 2, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Owner is a nice person and food was fresh. I had all the grilled items so not sure how everything taste. Considering how bad Pakistani food here in Dallas, I would say it is better than lots of places around here although not up to par against NY/Chicago.
Overall I do recommend this place. Posted on July 22, 2013 |

★★★★★ We ordered the Chicken Tikkas, Bihari Kabab, Chicken Seekh Kabab, and Mutton Masala. The food was extremely delicious, fresh. The most authentic desi BBQ places that I have been in US. keep it up :) Posted on May 29, 2013 |

★★★★★ I don't give reviews but after visiting Bundoo Khan, Plano I changed my mind and thought I must review and tell others how good they are, I never been in any restaurant better then this their food is "YUMMMM" only bad thing is it took about 40 minutes to get food on our table, my wife was kind of angry but after we got food on our table we strongly be leave nothing is better then fresh food, I suggest all my friends to try their food and we will go back again soon. Posted on May 27, 2013 |

★★★★★ Clean place. Friendly staff who seemed the owners. it tok about 40 minutes to get our food bur everything was fresh and yummy. Chicken Behari and Beef Seehk kabab. Both were served hot, fresh and with grilled onion. I would suggest it to any for a night out, or a family dinner. Total was about $20 for two people. Going back again soon, Insh Allah
I was looking my review and see this last one, I's not agreed with this last review at all because when we went there I have really good food and service and many of my friends liked this place too. Posted on May 17, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Nice restaurant, good food (my son says its Great food), friendly owner, and big portion size. I don’t know why zabiha.com considers it expensive, believe me its not for the quantity they serve. Keep it up, the quality and quantity.
UPDATED: on Mother's day their service was pathetic and food was below average. we had to wait everytime to get Naan out on the table, eventhough, We ordered all naans TOGETHER but the waitress was only bringing out 2 at a time while we were 7 adults and 2 kids dining that night.. At the end, Owner refused to come out from the kitchen saying he is too busy to talk to us when we asked to let him know about our disappointment. You need to learn how to respect people who keep you in business. You dont last very long in this industry with this type of attitude. There are plenty of other dining places in DFW who would be more than happy to have our business and SHOW SOME RESPECT. We went to this place only because we liked the food and the serivce when we came first time. Second time was horrible too but we still gave them another chance on Mother's day but that was it. Posted on May 16, 2013 |
Thanks for your comments and mention about price, I did contact to Zabihah.com and hope they can fix the problem. Bundoo Khan Menu is from $5.99 - $11.99 |

★☆☆☆☆ My husband and arrived at 9pm on a Saturday night and they're open till 10. Our first clue something was wrong with this place- dirty tables, Styrofoam plates and cups, and flimsy plastic forks. The menu was a photocopied piece of paper that you have to fill out with quantities for what you want. My husband ordered chicken biryani for $9 and I ordered the kebab for $8. I asked her if it comes with naan, and she said it just comes on a bed of onions, and I'd have to order the naan separately, which I did for another $1. Then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. I suggested leaving, but my husband thought we might as well wait, and we can ignore the sorry excuse for flatware and silverware if the food is good. 35 minutes later, being completely ignored by the family of owners, we asked what was going on and they said it would just be 5 more minutes. 7 minutes later we go up to the window and ask what is going on again, and they say our order will be right out. At this point it's been nearly 45 minutes- for 3 simple items that I can cook at home from scratch in that amount of time. Finally, they brought the food out, with an attitude of course because we were being "difficult" I suppose for asking them what was going on. The biryani had 3 little pieces of chicken and was drowned in oil. It tasted extremely flavorless- except for the ridiculous amount of spice at the same time, and the grains of rice were not done well enough. My husband couldn't even eat it. I tried a bite and it was so greasy it later gave me heartburn. I only took one bite of my naan, which was covered in oil as well. It tasted ok, but I was too annoyed to eat the kebab knowing my husband wouldn't be able to eat anything after almost an hour of waiting. I decided enough was enough. We had to walk out of there, empty handed and utterly dissatisfied. I don't understand how anyone can tolerate such poor customer service. Worst restaurant experience ever. Never going back. ★★★★★ The place was nice and clean. The food was really good although a bit pricey. The only annoying thing was the loud music. Posted on January 7, 2013 |
|
|
★★★★☆ Place is fairly large. It could use more decor. We ordered three items, chicken boti, beef seekh kabob and chicken masala. The first 2 were excellent. The chicken masala was ordinary IMO. Pretty decent portions for the price. My only complaint is that they need warn you that the tongs used to pick the food is piping hot (I nearly burned myself trying to pick up the seekh kabob). Posted on January 6, 2013 |

★★★★★ Food is fresh. Price is reasonable too for the quality and quantity. Their Behari Kebabs, Nehari and Carrot Halwa are awesome. we will go again, Inshallah. I wish they open in Okhlama City too. Posted on December 12, 2012 |

★★★★★ OMG I love this place and I got to write review for the best restaurant I ever been, yummy Tikka Kebabs, pratha and mmm yummy Nehari. I'm from Houston and and been many good restaurant here and in New York but no one is closed to Bundoo Khan, Dallas. they take little longer time but everything was fresh and I'm sure they don't use Microwaves like many other restaurant. Food serve in 25 minutes to prepare but waitress told me when I ordered. My high recommendation for this place !!! Posted on December 10, 2012 |

|
★★★★★ Honestly I hate desi food, but this place makes the best Desi BBQ I have eaten in my life. It's truly worth trying this place. The owner is very humble and knows how to cook his food. The environment it's not that great but the food definitely makes up for it. Posted on November 6, 2012 |
|
|
★★★★★ Best Nehari and Tikka, Kebabs with fresh Nans/Pratha. I love love & love this place! Where else do the owner prepares and brings the food to your table:)? It is a family owned place where everybody pitches in and they really care about what they serve. We have been going there for 8/9 months and the quality they've been maintaining is remarkable. The menu is kind of short. But you know what, the food is so good! We go there at least once a week and IA will go back again again. Last week friend invite us to Ameen and we all love thier Party menu. 5 ★★★★★ Posted on November 5, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Clean atmosphere. Friendly staff who seemed to act as if they were the owners. Food came surprisingly quick. Ordered Behari Beef and Beef Seehk kabab. Both were served hot, fresh and with grilled onion. Both were delicious. I would suggest it to any for a night out, or a family dinner. Total was about $25 (with out tip) for two people. Only negative is there variety is low, it is truly a BBQ only joint. No curry dishes, not on the regular at least. Posted on October 7, 2012 |
|
|
★★★★★ Excellent Seekh Kababs (both Chicken and Beef). First time when we went, we told the owners we didnt like Nihari and gave them reasons. They listened to our suggestions very well. Next time, we loved the Nihari as they made improvements. Clean place and good customer service. However, food takes almost 30 minutes to prepare so plan accordingly. My high recommendation for this place !!! Posted on September 24, 2012 |

★★★★★ We went there recently with the family while visit Dallas. I must say the food is delicious. Good Pakistani Restaraunt to serve fresh food made to order. Nice neighborhood and closed to Plano Mosque, clean environment. Behari kababs and Chicken Tikka are the best definitely must have! Great Seekh kababs etc. I wish they open a branch here in LA but we will go again when next time we go to Dallas. 5 STARS! Posted on September 23, 2012 |

★★★★★ Great food. Authentic bundoo khan parathas!
Bihari kababs, chicken boti and chicken tikka are my absolute favorite. Raita and chutneys are very good. I could easily finish a paratha with nothing else but the raita and chutney. Recommended to all friends! Posted on September 20, 2012 |
|
|
★★★★★ Ordered some take out from here. We ordered Chicken Kababs, Beef Kababs and Chicken Behari along with Naan and Garlic Naan. Everything was very good, but i liked the Chicken Behari and Garlic Naan the best. They also give Raita and chutneys. Prices are very reasonable as well. We will go back soon to eat there. ★★☆☆☆ My first experience here as far as food quality was a 4 star, but I was disappointed by the overall experience when I went there recently. That day, the restaurant was near capacity in the evening; apparently, owners were not able to handle the numerous orders (wait times > 1 hr) and in fact, several parties left because of the long wait time. In addition, service left a lot to be desired because orders would arrive in piecemeal and waiters would forget what was actually ordered. The owner justifies this by saying that he makes tikkas fresh, but when the food arrived, it was of mediocre to average caliber, serving portions were small, and food was expensive compared to competition. The owner was somewhat apologetic, but really, given the inordinate wait time, should have offered some sort of discount. Will not be going back there anytime soon until owners can demonstrate they can handle large number of orders without sacrificing quality. Posted on August 21, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ At the urging of a friend who strongly attests to the amazing food Bundu Khan serves up, I decided to go with their takeout for a party of 15 people. One of my pals placed the order and made it clear that we were hosting 15 people and asked for an assortment of chicken tikka, beef boti, chicken boti and naan. The bill came out to about $165, but with a discount it came down to $150.
While the food was indeed good (except for the overly greasy heavy naan), the quantity was very disappointing. The $150 translated into two small 12” x 8” trays of meat. One tray had about four chicken breasts, and the other had a mound of ground meat kabobs (half chicken, half beef). The naan, however, must have weighed a good 10 pounds.
We all felt jipped. Extremely jipped! It’s primarily because we had numerous assurances that the food will be more than enough for our party, but it certainly wasn’t. Not to mention that greasy bread and ground meat shouldn’t cost more per pound than lobster.
I will not be visiting the restaurant, nor will I place another order with them. The impression my compadres got was substandard as well. It’s always disappointing when a new addition to the zabiha scene in DFW turns out like this. Truly sad. Posted on August 6, 2012 |

★★★★★ Very basic menu. The parathas are the best...just like the original bundu khan in Pakistan. Behari kababs are the best as well as their tikkas. Good serving size for price from $5.99 - $9.99, we will go back again soon, Inshallah! Posted on June 14, 2012 |

★★★★★ Food is awesome.. 2 thumbs up.........but be ready for slow service...but will visit again for sure.....food is worth the wait........... Posted on June 10, 2012 |
We apreciate for your visit and that you liked our food but please remember that we make everything fresh which may take some time. We don't use the MICROWAVE for any BBQ items. Looking forward to see you again, Inshallah! Thanks Again! |

★★★★★ After reading all the bad reviews, followed by several good ones, got a feeling that this place has improved. It was my first time visiting, and had a great experience. Although it was a nice/clean sit-down place, there is room for some improvement, however it is well above average compared to other similar joints. The food was great. Tried a couple chicken dishes with naan, and all were great. Will come back again. Posted on May 17, 2012 |
Thanks for your review and looking forward to see you soon. Inshallah! |

★★★★★ Been there twice. Both times the food was excellent. I've tried chicken seekh kabab, Chicken Bihari kabab and a Tandoori Tikka. The naan was fresh and crispy. Staff is friendly. I was surprise to see clean washrooms at Desi Restaurant. I would Highly recommended to all friends and will go back again soon :-) Posted on March 29, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ I visited this place after reading all these great reviews but to my disappointment it was nothing what I was expecting from Bundoo Khan. We ordered Seekh kabab and bihari kababs with paratha and only thing i like was their chatni. I wouldn't have been so upset if they didn't use the famous name. Thier food is just mediocre and pricy. Not bad if you're just looking to eat a food without any higher expectations. I doubt if i'll be going back. Posted on March 27, 2012 |

★★★★★ I went to Bundoo Khan per my family recommendation. We ordered the Chicken Tikkas, Bihari Kabab, Chicken Seekh Kabab, and parathays. The food was extremely delicious, fresh, and mouth-watering. The prices weren't bad either and we were extremely glad that we ate at Bundoo Khan. The most authentic desi BBQ places that I have been in US. The place was very cleaned, specially bath rooms. I give this place an A+. Posted on March 22, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Excellent Grilled, spicy and juicy Sikh Kabab the Bihari Kabab was also amazing - both were served hot and sizzinling, The naan was also served hot and soft. One of the best grilled pakistani places in DFW. Posted on December 3, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ I visited Bundoo Khan for dinner with a group of family members. The grill items were good although the Nihari was bit salty and service was average.
They may need to hire servers to improve service. Posted on October 23, 2011 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ The portion sizes were small.Food is a little bit pricy and naan/bread must be purchased seperately (there are no combo menu options). Not too many grill options in menu. Posted on October 16, 2011 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ Our complete order was not served at once. We had to keep reminding them and we left without eating properly. They didn't even bother to apologize. They were more interested in serving guests with bigger orders. Posted on October 9, 2011 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ The food was tasty, but the service was a big disappointment. Customers sometimes see the service and not the food. Our order was not completely served. There was a dish missing from our order. We asked for the missing dish three times, but it was not provided to us till we decided to leave. We complained the manager but he never acknowledged the mistake or apologized for it. It was a big disappointment for us. Not recommended for people who care about the service Posted on October 9, 2011 |

★★★★★ Bundoo Khan is now open! I visited and the food was great. There were a few problems because of the huge crowd, but besides that it was excellent! I had to wait a while, but the wait was worth it. I'm sure in a few weeks they will have it running perfectly. I would reccomend this restaurant to everyone I know because it reminds me of home... ★★★★★ Finally, it is open! I loved the food, too! There were a few problems, but otherwise, it was great. This is really a restaurant to reccomend! Posted on October 2, 2011 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ I was there first Night, and I am utterly disappointed with the way the handled their first impression.
There was no ordering from the menu, it was a buffet. and I can understand they may not have menus yet. This is what they had in their buffet
A) Bhindi
B)Murgh Chana
C)Nihari
D)Biryani
E)Tandoori Chicken
F)Naan
The problem is that last 2 Items were NON existent, Yes there was no Naan and Chicken at any given time. We had to make 5-6 attempts to get some Naan and since everyone was waiting for Naan ALL THE TIME, it felt like you are in line for free food and not getting it.
If you want customers to like you, at least give them a chance to eat your food, this is the least you can do... have some food, is that too much to ask?
and yeah, management was totally aware and apologetic for all that and was heard saying numerous time that they did not expect this many people to show up, but conveniently kept charging $10 per person even though No body was actually getting any real food!!!
Poor Management, Misleading everyone by using Bundu Khan's Name, I was expecting so much from them and have eaten in Houston and was uber excited to see them here, all that waiting down the drain Posted on October 1, 2011 |
