★★☆☆☆ This is a good place for a family Halal dinning. Chilli and Tandoori Chicken are good and you can also try the Shawerma. They have good Cheese burgers. Their portions are great and they are quick in preparing fresh food for you. However, the bathrooms are dirty. The sitting area needs more attention and may need better furniture. They need to work on overall cleanliness and presentation. Brother at the counter should also be more relaxed when people ask if the Food is Zabihah Halal and should not frown. There may be a lot of visitors in his restaurant who are there first time and just want to make sure they are eating Zabihah Halal.
Revised Rating and comments: The lamb meat I have tried was not cooked properly. And the food quality has gone down. The restaurant is getting dirtier day by day (specially their bathrooms and sitting area). It looks like they do not care about any hygiene or cleanliness. The children's booster seats, tables and chairs are like the dirtiest with oil and grease all over them. I hate it when I have to go to the counter to ask for plates and spoons after they have served my food. Why can't they serve everything together? Posted on June 6, 2015 |

★★★★★ Been going there for a while now. Good chili chicken, gyro, steak butter chicken, and cheeseburgers. When I go I usually get a cheeseburger with gyro meat added in it and it delicious. Everything is good and it is a great place to go eat. Posted on July 27, 2013 |

★★★★★ the serving size and the price... nowhere else can beat them! reasonable for big families regarding budget and also since it is big kids have space to move:) i like most of the food but my favorites are chili chicken and spinach one, sooo good! steak and gyro were really good ,too.
yes, it could be fancier and nicer but it works the way it is.
ps: the food at the oakland one is bad, wouldnt go even i am so hungry! Posted on April 9, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Tandoori chicken is good. Naans are great.
serving size is huge. it takes a lot of work to finish your food.
I love their chicken shawarma and the cheese burger.
Food taste is not consistent. sometimes it is great. other times it is just OK.
easy street parking and alot of seating space in the restaurant.
Service is like typical desi restaurant. nothing to be proud of. you have to work to place your order. Posted on July 6, 2012 |

★★★★☆ This is giving two locations for Salems. The one I ate at ( after not Grandma B's, where I really wanted to go, was closed) has beautiful murals covering the outside walls. Loved that. The food was also pretty tasty with good portions and the standard cafeteria style East Coast halal joint. I got curry chicken and chickpeas. Only problem there were a lot of Steelers jerseys in the place and that kind of hurt my eyes. Posted on December 29, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Quality of food is not consistent. The staff is very rude if you complain. They say, don't complain, you embarassing us.
Their mentality can be understood by their note outside the kitchen, "If you are not Salem employee, you cannot come inside. We don't care if you are Barak Obama" Posted on August 24, 2011 |

★★★★★ Really nice halal menu. Lots of choices, offers a wide variety of middle eastern fare. I loved the lamb kebab, also their shwarma. Generous portions. Spacious and clean dining area. Great restroom facility. Friendly service, affordable prices, fast turnaround. Great location a few blocks before the busyness of the Strip District. Would go there again at a second's notice. ★★★★★ This is a great place to eat. The food tastes very good, especially the shish tawook. Pricing is very reasonable. Quantity is great. It has a pretty big space, with adequate seating, parking and a nice and clean atmosphere. Not really a formal restaurant, but great for lunch or a quick dinner. Its by far one of the best in the area. Posted on April 13, 2010 |
