★☆☆☆☆ I have visited this place many times because the swarma is quite tasty but i got to say there service is absolutely the worst service ever, just taking orders thats all they know. There is no acknowledgement, please or thank you. Posted on June 8, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ Food is okay, service is poor (at best). They got our orders wrong, took time and it was expensive. All in all a poor experience but for some reason this place is always busy. Posted on April 5, 2009 |

★☆☆☆☆ Look the food is good and reasonably priced as compared to other Lebanese restaurants on that road. The managers, waiters and cooks are EXTREMELY rude people. They will not assist with any kind of assistance. Would I go there again - only in extreme cases because you have to queue up to get a table which also is provided on run and grab basis. ★★☆☆☆ I am inclined to agree that Beirut Express is best seen as a takeaway rather than as a restaraunt. The waiters provide you with a very poor service (insisting on one guy taking the order while the others roam around - not sure what they are doing?), food is so-so. For the same price which includes decent customer service I would recommend you visit Cafe du Liban. Posted on September 16, 2007 |

★☆☆☆☆ Disgusting place, there is no service. The waiters/chef/staff are all perverted men who stare at everyone. The waiters are very rude and confrontational. Avoid at all costs. Posted on July 14, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Love the Shwarma sandwiches which are under £3 - really delicious. Try their melon juice - might give you a bit of gas but it's worth it :P Generally expensive restaurant otherwise but what's not expensive on Edgware Road? Posted on January 23, 2006 |

★☆☆☆☆ This is a TAKEAWAY not a restaurant. There was no service, the food is simply McDonald fries on a plate charged at a ridiculous price Posted on December 18, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ Food was cold, service was awful, bland food, poor service, more like a fast food place than a restaurant. Posted on April 26, 2004 |

★★★★☆ Tasty food, though the portions are too small and therefore a bit pricey. Can often be too overcrowded. Posted on April 21, 2004 |

★★★★★ Has become well known on the strength of it's excellent shwarmas, which are also very reasonably priced. The rest of the menu is average. The only real problem with this place is it's popularity - it's very hard to find a table at the best of times. Posted on April 1, 2004 |

★★★★☆ It is part of the Maroush chain of restaurants, great selection of fruit drinks, such as orange, melon, grapefruit, mango, etc. It is a small restaurant compare to Al-dar which opposite it on Edgware Road. It is a trendy place to go to. A nice place too. It is very clean and tidy. A nice atmosphere. It does not sell alcohol compare to the other Maroush restaurants which is more caters for the non muslim market. It is a nice place to bring the family to eat and relatives from abroad too. Thanks Allah for that.

★★★★★ Part of Maroush chain. Authentic Lebanese shawarmas (closest thing to what you get in Arab countries). Excellent quality, affordable, no alcohol. Posted on June 10, 2002 |
