★☆☆☆☆ If there was a negative review this place would be worth it. Their air conditioning NEVER works!!! If you go for a party or just to eat. Their food has gone down the hill!!! Owners are not knowledgeable about Pakistani food. Posted on November 22, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Some of the best kabob rolls I've had in years. Unfortunately, the place is understaffed and overpacked, so either arrive off of peak hours or prepare to wait an hour for your food. Posted on August 20, 2015 |

|
★☆☆☆☆ The food is always good here but I feel bad for the waiters. The management (being cheap) only keeps 1-2 waiters for this entire restaurant that can have a capacity of 60-80 people. I waited 1hr 20m for a couple of chicken rolls. I wasted a lot of time. The management doesn't care about their waiters, everybody besides me were complaining but It was not the waiters' fault. They can only do so much. Bottom line is, excellent food but TERRIBLE management. Cheap cheap people. Posted on January 2, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ I specifically made a zabihah.com account to rate this horrible restaurant. Unhygienic, we got food poisoning. When we complained to the owners, they didn't care and told us we were lying. The waiters were rude and even made my sister in law cry. I took extended family here and was so embarrassed by the impression it left of us. I hate to leave a bad review for a Muslim business but I would advise avoiding this place. Posted on November 9, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ RUDE RUDE RUDE! Called in ahead of time to book a table during ramadan, was told ok by a female worker.. got there before iftaar time only to be rejected very rudly by the owner(?).. extremely displeased with the service.. Posted on September 24, 2013 |

★★★★☆ I LOVE this restaurant. I gave just 4 stars because the service is awful. You WILL wait at least an hour for your food but it is worth the wait. The biryani isn't good but everything else is. The kirahi is better than what you get in Pakistan. The naan, paratha, chicken dishes even gulab jamun is amazing. Most is made to order that's why you wait so long. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Posted on August 11, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ The food and service here is always below average. I would have given them a 1 start but Im giving them 2 stars because I enjoy their nihari. Everything else is just horrible. Posted on July 31, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Salam brothers and sisters. I read such good reviews about this restaurant that I had to try it out. But my experience was not that pleasant. walking in I greeted a frowning server salam.I had ordered one item chicken biryani. My wait was about half hour. Not that bad. My biryani on the other hand was bbad. The rice was dry n hard to chew the chicken looked dry and old as well. After two bites I threw it away. Did you guys reheat old biryani and give it to me? ★★★★★ Must come to this Resteraunt.
Must have the niahari
You may have to wait a bit but te flavor is so intense and delicious
Must try with naan Posted on April 21, 2013 |
|
|
★★★☆☆ decor was good, ahead of most indian joints (nice lighting, tables, floor etc)
Services was good, food is prepared fresh so expect to wait a bit. Reasonably cheap but probably cos servings are pretty small.
Wifes butter chicken must have had no more then 4 of 5 small cubes of chicken, my beef nihari had 2 cubes of meat. Naans a little smaller then what you'd normally expect.
All in all, its a good place to eat, but we've had far better in Orlando and USA in general. Posted on December 13, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ I Had to wait For a hour for my Meal I was alone and I kept on getting ignored. The food was average. Posted on December 11, 2012 |

★★★★★ Superb food. I highly recommend seekh baltee. Mix of BBQ items in delicious gravy. Hands down best food in state, may be best in US. Posted on September 6, 2012 |

★★★★★ we had the biryani, mutton korma and grill mix all was delicious the naan was fresh and hot Posted on June 14, 2012 |

|
★★★★☆ The food here took a while to make but gave us an excuse to go to Apna baazar and the neighboring shops while we waited. In the end the food was worth the wait. The kebabs and tandoori chicken were amazing. Other than the long wait the experience was great. Posted on May 21, 2012 |

|
★★★★★ we ordered a karahi, some kebabs all were fresh tasting and good
the waiter had a uniform , was attentive and was at the reception/cash desk at all times except when to grab the food ,courteous and not hiding in the kitchen like some do and u never see them Posted on May 15, 2012 |

★★★★★ CHICKEN ROLE TO GO.
CHICKEN ROLE TO GO.
And you will have absolutely no problems with this place. Avoid the awkward environment and indulge in their AMAZING CHICKEN ROLE. There's nothing like it on this PLANET. Only $5!! I would have that over a 5 dollar foot long any day of the week. Posted on April 3, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ The worst service I have ever seen. Rude waitress. We got drinks served after waiting for an hour and then another hour before the meal arrived. Glasses were dirty, serving size small. Only one waiter serving everyone. Everything was dirty. Don't ever go here- I know we won't- pretty pathetic and embarrassing that we took our guests there. Posted on April 1, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ I accidentally went into the kitchen instead of the bathroom and couldn't tell the difference. Absolutely Disgusting!! With higher than usual amounts of roaches and mouse droppings.
I usually like to be a gracious host to my guests and was horribly embarrassed by the following: 1)Rude, snappy waitress who ignored us for over 45 minutes after taking the order. 2)The toilet had broken fixtures with slow running water, no liquid soap and no paper towels. Not to mention the 1 foot gaping hole in the wall with water dripping. It seems everytime you go to the toilet your clothes get wet!
The food was average with higher than usual masala levels. How would you enjoy the food if everything else sucks? I wanted to call the health department on these folks but someone already reported them with 20 plus violations in the local paper on wkmg.com.
If this is Halal Desi I'm opting for being a vegetarian.
I will never eat there again and would advise that 50% of Islam is cleanliness and this restaurant is just a health hazard waiting to happen. My VIP guests from Arabia were absolutely appalled and kept muttering "marra waskhaan" (extremely filthy) in Arabic. Posted on March 30, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ AA
5/5 for food. Chicken Tikka, nihari and seekh kanabs are excellent. I come to Orlando every year on company business and always go there to eat. Problem
2/9 for cleanliness
Smells bad and not clean. Bathroom had no paper towels
AC vents are. Clogged with dirt
Really dirty Posted on March 26, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ We got some takeout last week, found out this restaurant is owned by the same people who own Bismillah Restaurant. Employees are extremely rude, we ordered 6 seekh kabobs, the person at the counter thought it was 6 orders of seekh kabobs and when we corrected them, they started to argue and would not return our credit card and insisted we take the 6 orders. Finally the argument was over and we got 6 kabobs not 6 orders of kabobs, only to find out when we got home that each of the kabobs were broken into multiple pieces. Never going to this place again. The owners were usually very nice when we used to go to bismillah, but things have changed for sure. Posted on January 3, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ Don't waste your time going there. STAY AWAY!!!
Wish we can give them zero stars.
Non-existent service, absolutely horrible staff. Very dirty and no organized seating. We had to wait 75 min for our food and then they served us the wrong order. By that time the kids were asleep. No apologies at all from management, in fact, they frowned on us for complaining about the food taking too long. An older guy with terrible manners and the lady were like "this happens on weekends only, come see us on weekdays and it will only take an hour, everyone knows it gets busy on weekends what else do you want". What audacity and stupidity.
On top of that, the food was ice cold, tasted bad, and was way over priced. They even messed up with the check and gave us someone else's and claimed that this what we ate.
Someone else wrote that their Nihari is good. I utterly disagree, tastes nothing like Nihari, the beef they use is terrible, badly bruised and had blood clots, we sent it back. Also seekh kabobs were bone dry. Naan were ice cold too and very rubbery.
Just go over to Chaat House (three stores over) and enjoy the best desi meal/experience ever with excellent food and really faster friendly service. Posted on January 2, 2011 |

★★★★☆ We visited this resturant in July 2010, food and service was good. We get chicken biryani, chicken karahi and chicken kabab. All was above average. Some old reviews seems to me low, but now things are better, very reasonable price compare to others in Orlando area. Posted on August 1, 2010 |

★★★★★ Recently, we were in Orlando and went to eat at Apna Resturant. This place is nice, very neat and clean. Food is yummy and not that expensive. Service is excellent. Waitress wear hijab and serve pretty quickly. They have Apna grocery next to it and you get good stuff from there. We like Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Chicken and Sheekh Kabob. Price is also very reasonable. Posted on April 16, 2009 |

★★☆☆☆ I don't even know how they are still open for business. Their food is just not up to par and it seems they just have this restaurant next to their grocery store, just for the sake of it. They don't have much business from the locals and that is understandable. Posted on August 13, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ I went to the Apna Restaurant on Sunday with my parents and sister for their buffet. I have to say that I glanced at their buffet food and left with my sister because all of it looked way too oily, greasy and fatty. My parents ate from their buffet and told me later that the food was horrible. It was excessively salty, oily, tasteless and expensive. Besides this, there was no air conditioning, they gave them plastic forks, paper plates to eat in, the condition of the restaurant was terrible full of cracks in the wall. I called them up today to tell them how terrible their food was. Instead of apologizing the manager argumented with me. We will never go to this restaurant again. Posted on August 5, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ This place in its early years was good, until my last trip to orlando where I had a horrific experience with food. Then and there I knew was my last trip down this place. Unfortunatly orlando has small desi population which leaves not much veriety and speciality in desi food. Posted on January 24, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ I recently visited this restaurant with my family. The food was good but very little quantity, which makes it expensive. I also saw the two ladies in the restaurant fight with each other, which is not professional. and yeah they serve you in paper/plastic plates, which is again not a professional approach. Since the food was good therefore I went there a few times during my trip to Orlando. If you are going to Orlando and want desi food in good environment then you should try some other places as well. ★☆☆☆☆ this was one of the worst resturants ever. there was old plastic tables. they gave me and my family paper plates and plastic spoons. there was barly any air conditioning. the walls had ripped up wall paper and the walls had cracks in it. even their crown molding had cracks in it. the food was expensive and tasted old. the quantitie of the food was very little. the menue had nothing good on it. even the lady in the front didnt ask how much people there are going to be like those other resturants in america. i do not recomend this resturant to anyone. please do not ever go to this resturant brothers and sisters.jazakallahkayr.
