HALAL SUMMARY
The menus at this restaurant clearly state that Halal food is served.
★★★★☆ Great food selection. Had to wait a bit long for the food to be prepared but it was worth it. We had chicken steak with mandi rice and beef suqwaar with mandi rice. Price is average. Posted on December 27, 2015
★★★★★ My wife and I went here for dinner on Friday night. We ordered one lamb dish and one beef dish. Both were excellent!
Everything tasted so good, that we drove back there on Sunday afternoon for brunch.
The owner is friendly and helpful and looks after his customers. We will be back when we are anywhere near there in the future. Posted on March 8, 2015
★☆☆☆☆ I visited this place last month when I was working at St.Catharines. The place is outdated, freezing cold and dirty, but I wanted to try it. Sat there and ordered a soup and a lamb and rice dish. There was only one other customer so they were not super busy. Waited exactly 45 mintes to be served a bowl of meat broth with an inch of lamb fat on top and chopped carrots inside, calling it a soup!! I took a sip nontheless and I regreted it. I am a cook and I know food, this was not food! I called the waiter/ganitor/sabdwich maker and asked him where's my rice, he apologized and said the cook is making it and it needs another 15 minutes!! I cancelled my order and left disgusted with the after taste.
Just because we choose to eat halal does not mean we will accept such insult to the food industry. Posted on February 17, 2015
