★★★☆☆ Went there for dessert. Not for the food (ate somewhere else). Heard a lot of great things about this place (faluda).
Customer Service:
I felt the customer service was ok. The owner reacted in an odd manner when the order given to him had a discrepancy. Additionally, when menu items are not available, this is very annoying. If a restaurant has more than 3 items out of stock, that is a problem.
Quality:
Ok. The ice cream scoops were expensive and the portions were small. Did not feel good about this.
Meat Authenticity:
Did not have any meat dishes (only dessert) so did not ask.
Cons:
Customer service, as mentioned above and portions for the ice cream was small.
Overall Experience:
OK. I didnt feel great about the experience. Being pragmatic. I would like to see better customer service and a better job of supply chain management for the menu items. I would go back to see if the experience gets better. Posted on December 27, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ I have been to this place 3 times to try their falooda. The first time we were there, i told the owner that we had just moved to altanta and he made good falooda for us. I liked the lahori style falooda but didn't like the karachi style which was kind of tasteless.
The next Two times, i took some of my friends with me and the falooda was total disappointment for all of us. it just simply didn't have any flavor.
They are mostly out of 70% of the things on their menu. We wanted to try a few other things from the menu, and they were out. we could only order 3 lahori faloodas as they didnt have more so we had to order other flavors which were pretty tasteless...
The service is ok however, the owner has a kind of attitude problem. It does not take long for him to become rude... My friend complained about the lack of flavor in his karachi style falooda and he simply replied that is how it is as if he was saying Go F your self... we wont be going back to this place again.. ★☆☆☆☆ Get ready for a LONG review.....
So I saw they had a Groupon deal (spend $10 to get $15 worth of credit). I thought this was a great deal and wanted to get fahloodas for my family. I purchased the Groupon and went to Agha Juice to redeem it. My iTouch had just died, so I could not pull it up on my app. I do not have a smart phone, but I was able to pull up the email confirming my purchase. This was not good enough for the owner because she needed to pull the bar code. Luckily my sister has a smart phone and was able to get onto Groupon's website. We pulled up the barcode number that was needed. The owner clicked on the link on the phone and it was redeemed.
However I think the owner is severely technologically deficient/handicapped and does not know the difference between the app and the website. The website showed the Groupon now "redeemed/used," but the owner was not accepting the Groupon and was complaining it would be a financial loss. I tried to reason to her and explain that the website is different from the app and the Groupon went through, but she stubbornly was not understanding it or even trying to understand it. She was expecting a different page to confirm the use, even though the information was in front of her in a different form.
I proceeded to call Groupon customer service so they could explain to her what I was telling her. Groupon confirmed that she had indeed redeemed my purchase and it should have been honored. The owner was adamant about not accepting it, saying her daughter is in charge of everything, wanted Groupon to call her daughter, and wanted Groupon to refund the transaction so I could re-purchase it. For the record, I am not sitting freely with easy access and free time to go home, repurchase it, and come back.
The effort was a lost cause. You can't argue with stupid, so I asked Groupon if I could be refunded. Groupon understood my predicament and was very apologetic. I used to LOVE Agha Juice but I am never coming back again. I will miss their fahloodas, but I will not tolerate this kind of treatment or incompetence.
The owner has no idea how Groupon works, wasn't even trying to understand the situation when Groupon was trying to solve the issue, and the owner kept on talking about it being a "financial loss." This was the WORST customer service experience I have ever went through. So beware when you redeem a Groupon here. Posted on March 9, 2012 |

★★★★☆ decent option for a quick snack; though they didn't have lassi when we went (which was what i was really craving) it was ok, we had faloodas which was good; would come back to try some of their other hot food options Posted on January 7, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Loved the food, disliked the service.
I actually went back to back days with the first visit being with my mom. We really enjoyed the food - they have fantastic bun kabobs however, we both felt the service was spotty. This visit wasn't too bad as far as service is concerned, it just took a long time for the food to come out and they didn't get the complete order correct on the first try so we had to wait more time for them to finish making the complete order. We were the only ones there so not sure what the hold up was. The main thing that irked me was that the lady I ordered with disappeared to the back so there was no one there to answer my question. Then, another girl came out behind the counter but sat there talking to a guy who wasn't even a restaurant patron and I couldn't get them to be quiet to answer my question about my order.
The second visit was worse service-wise. I took my friends and once again we really enjoyed the food but were unhappy with the woman behind the counter. My friend asked her to leave fruit out of her falooda and was told that was not possible because it was a staple of that drink. Their menu says "made to order, how you want it"! Also, we ordered together but our food came out in bits and pieces so my friend had to keep getting up to retrieve it. She probably got up in the middle of eating 4 or 5 times, minimum.
I really feel like if they made a conscious effort to step up their service, it would make me visit them more but I haven't been back since those two times. Too bad because I'm really a fan of the food. Posted on August 9, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ This was my first and last time going to Agha Juice, Atl. I usually dont get to eat desi food so was very excited until the following took place: the huge menu is there just to "say" they have a menu. NOTHING but the chicken boti kabab was avaliable and even in that there was no chicken to be found. They should rename it the Onion Kabab. Second off, the customer service SUCKS! The "owner", the South Indian girl behind the register had attitude like no tomorrow and needs to go back to business school to learn how to manage a restaurant (and probably should report back to the first grade too). I thouught if you had a complain you report it to the management, instead i was told to leave or else the cops would be called. Last but not least, if you have babies in diapers you might want to find a baby sitter and leave them at home. Agha Juice Atlanta does not believe in changing tables therefor, I had to change my daughters diaper in the car. I was not allowed to dispose the dirty diaper in the bathroom because they didnt want the whole place to smell. Thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard in my life. SO if you are looking for rude service, un-sanitary food, lies and terrible attitude THIS is the place to be! They should be shut down! Posted on April 10, 2011 |
