★★★ We went in the evening on a weekday and had quick service. Seating can be a bit cramped if you have a stroller. The nihari and bbq items were just okay but the channay were amazing as was the bhindi gosht. Their naan were very fresh and tasty. The mango lassi was very good and authentic (read not super sugary or pumped with artificial coloring). Very economical and good portions and we would definitely return. Posted on September 28, 2013
★★★★ Salam brothers and sisters.. Whilst on holiday in NY from the UK, I was recommended this establishment by a Muslim cab driver.. The decor of this place was average at best and space being limited.. That said we were made to feel really comfortable and the food was perfect.. Sheik kebab with naan went down a treat.. My wife enjoyed her meal too although she was the only lady in there! (except the waitress).. If you want genuine halal food that tastes like it should, I recommend this place.. It won't be gourmet dining but it's tried and tested. Posted on November 3, 2012
★★★★★ I have been here several times and it's always a great experience. Its a busy place but service is fast. Food is really good... Probably the best chicken Haleem in Manhattan. Byrani is also pretty good. Shaljam gosht (turnip with meat) very good - reminded me of my time in Lahore.
Ras malai is lighter than the traditional one, which I really appreciated.
Also a cabby joint but Rather frequently visited by women and families. It's a small, humble place but otherwise great. They have a small bathroom, which is generally clean.
According to the owner they are planning to expand soon!!! Posted on July 20, 2012
