★☆☆☆☆ WATCH WHAT YOU ARE CHARGED. They do not ring up the same price as what is posted on the board. I am a local and have bought crepes here in the past. However, the business has definitely gone downhill. I felt I was overcharged in the past and this time paid more attention when being rung up. I ordered a sugar and banana crepe for my son. The menu board stated $3.50 for sugar crepe and $.75, however, I the man at the register rang up $5.25. I pointed out politely that I believed he overcharged me. He didn't even check what he rang up, but proceeded to go on about how a whole banana is $1.50 and the price on the board was for 1/2 banana. I said that his board was misleading because it doesn't state that. Then I also mentioned that he added $1.75 for the banana not the $.75 stated on the board or double that ($1.50) for a whole banana. His comment to that was "so you are willing to argue over a quarter?" It's not the money, it is the principle. Also, while trying to justify himself, he pulled out a separate menu with higher prices than the menu board and stated that these were the prices he used for tourists. When I asked why they didn't question being charged more, he said they were too dumb to notice.
I said I planned to report him and his comment to that was to go ahead and report him. He said that a few bad comments would not hurt his business.
I walked out without buying anything and will NEVER return. Posted on April 20, 2011 |

★★★★☆ The service at these places (there's two) is pretty decent. Crepes here are delicious. Posted on December 20, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ "Went there with high expectations and left mildly disappointed. The crepes were not made fresh which to me is a big no no, and they were okay. Nothing to rave about. Had way better before, although never with the assortment these guys offer. I was so excited to try halal crepes. People were polite, but I'm going there to get soft, melt in your mouth crepes, not get social. The guy preparing the food was doing the dishes, sweeping the floor, and preparing the food, all without gloves. Place was about as clean as I expected looking at it from the outside, so no disappointment there. Prices are outrageous for what was offered (cleanliness, quality, service). Business must be good, 'cause there was a steady stream of people coming in, and only 2 people working the place. Probably not going to go there again. Sorry, even though the meats are supposed to be halal." Posted on April 20, 2009 |

★★★★★ Great crepes and friendly service. I have had crepes many places and these are the best I've ever had. I had the chicken crepe, which is zabihah (the turkey is not zabihah), followd by a dessert crepe, Price Tarek (named after his son). Both were great. Great place for breakfast, lunch or a snack. Also, its right off the walking/bike path, so its very easy to get to. If you are in the area...its a MUST visit. I can't wait to go back. Posted on March 13, 2008 |

★★★★★ Husband and I were on our way to Monterey Bay Aquarium and happened to stop in this restaurant, and it turned out to be halal!! They do have some subs, but we tried the crepes which were DELICIOUS!!! Owners were sooo nice too and the place is very clean and cute. Located just one block from the aquarium, it would be nice to stop in for lunch if you are visiting!! Posted on December 31, 2007 |
