NR This restaurant has been sold. A new restaurant called Zaafran Kitchen ( also listed on Zabihah.com) has opened at that place. Posted on May 9, 2016 |

★★☆☆☆ I am sorry but the first impression has to be the last impression for this place. I ask "can I have glass of water”. We Ordered quite a few things that the guy at the counter recommended (Chicken Karahi, Butter Chicken, Bihari Kabob and other Burgers etc.).And I remind again "Can I have water before".
He went inside in kitchen to give order then come back and stand at counter, advice coworker something. My friend again remind "can we have water he said you want glass of water or bottle I said give me anything please and again he went inside in kitchen and come back and stand at counter.
Finally I stand up cancel the order and leave the place. We Enjoy SIZZLOS just opposite. Posted on August 18, 2013 |

★★★★☆ It's hard to believe the first 5-star rating when it's submitted by the owner/manager themselves! I can comment on only two things from first hand experience: food quality and customer service. The food is by no means extraordinary. It is edible, Alhamdulillah, but I am not going out of my way to go there again until I forget what the first experience was like. I had the Chicken Chili and the Fried Rice. Both were salty and overpriced ($14 keeping quantity in mind). But the customer service is another story. The restaurant had just reopened under new management and as expected, some changes were bound to happen. I called, asked and ordered what was sold as a combo by the previous management (Chicken Chili + Fried Rice) for $9.99. I even asked if this was still the current price. I received an affirmative reply. When I reached the restaurant, I was told by the attendant that he made a mistake and that items were no longer in combos and that everything had to be purchased separately. Fair enough. But this time it was his mistake, right? Wrong. He prepared only the Chicken Chili, expected me to pay the same $9.99 for it and go away without any rice or pay another $4 for the rice and wait at least 10 minutes for it. He says to me, "It's better to be honest, right?" Not only did I feel like I was ripped off, but I was also misinformed and my time was wasted. Customers call in advance to save time, in case you are reading, Mr Manager. Overall, food isn't bad, but don't expect to save money or time when ordering from this place. Even 3-stars is too flattering for Touch of Spice. UPDATE: Soon after my debacle, it seems the management reverted to the old combo price-structure for the Chilli Chicken, which once again included fried rice, for the same price. The dishes are no longer overly salty, either. As of April 2013, management has changed hands once again, but food quality seems not to have been affected. Posted on April 22, 2013 |

★★★★★ I came here for dinner on a Sunday night with the family. It was unusually quiet, and we were the only ones in the restaurant, normally not a good sign. The food arrived fairly quickly, we ordered Zinger burgers, Tarka Daal, behari kabab, boneless tikka, lamb korma and naans. And I have to say the food was excellent. The Naans were just awesome, and the behari kebab was one of the better ones i have had in recent times at desi restaurants. Everything was very tasty. It was probably the only time when my entire family were in unanimous consensus about a restaurant. Prices were reasonable, and they even gave us Firni on the house!! Posted on January 27, 2013 |

★★★★★ I live close to it and takeout from there often. I love their spicy burns rd. bun kabab, zinger and I've also tried their Karahi and jalfrezi and really liked it. Food is always fresh. That's a big one for me as so many halal places skim on quality after a while; not touch of spice. They recently raised zinger price to $3.49 but still food is very reasonably priced. One of my favourite places to take out. They do have sit down place as well but I never did. Posted on July 20, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ I am sorry but the first impression has to be the last impression for this place.
Ordered quite a few things that the guy at the counter recommended (Chicken Karahi, Lamb Vindalu and other Burgers etc.). Both me and my sister had upset stomach throughout the weekend and I am just now packing up to go home due to the constant pain in the tummy. Thought I'd write a review prior to leaving Posted on June 6, 2011 |

★★★★★ I was just reading your review waqqas31 and I think you are misleading customers, I have ordered the Hakka Style Chinese food many times before. The Chicken Chilli DOES come with fried rice, I paid only $11.29. I really enjoyed the customer service I received, the wait was just fine. Also you are correct waqqas31 3 stars is too flattering for "taste" of spice, but I'd easily visit "touch" of spice for many years to come as long as they stay in business, inshallah. ★★★★★ I found out about this place from my friend, he use to be a waiter at the restaurant. Anyways, I'm tired of eating at desi restaurants, in most of them, the food is always too spicy, and that's all you can taste. By the end of the meal, i'm sweating and and my nose is runny. But my friend told me this restaurant had choices, mild and spicy, and I thought, okay well, I hope the mild food still have flavours, and not just plain tasting. So I go there my first time and I order butter chicken, mild. It was great! Just a bit spicy, and you can really taste the butter chicken. I didn't need to blow my nose after the meal. My second visit I ordered the beef kabab special, and same thing, great tasting with little spice. I would also recommend the chicken karachi, and lamb something, I forget what that meal was called. The only negative I have is, I waited one time for a little longer, but this only happened once, and the manager gave me 10% off for my wait. if you want a little more spice you can opt for the spicy option. I never tried that spicy option. Overall the food is right up my alley, great restaurant. Posted on June 5, 2011 |
