★☆☆☆☆ Really disappointed in this locations quality. I usually go to location on 1727 Albion road which is amazing. The food portions was less and the quality was not good. Kabobs were shorter and drier. Chana tasted completely different the briyani tasted old and same with the chicken. Salad was old and not fresh. This location used to be good like 10 years ago, not sure what happened. Our bill for 2 was about $50. Posted on December 7, 2017 |

★★★★☆ Everyone here complaining about Qadiani ownership needs to get a life. Who the hell cares? It's food.
Also, food is good but I've found hair more than once. Posted on March 2, 2015 |

NR Ahmediya/ qadiani? Need clarification. Will not be going until that is clarified. Posted on December 9, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Place has gone from bad to worse. Minimal decor, poor crokery and cutlery and now fountain drinks that are almost non carbonated. We were served stale bihari kabobs last night and despite us and other tables informing mgmt, they still kept on insisting there was nothing wrong. Not only are servers discourteous, management seems to encourage it by pushing them to serve poor quality food. We paid for the dish that we never ate and have decided that its our last visit. This place to be avoided! Posted on September 1, 2013 |

★★★★☆ food has always been one of the better ones in mississauga if you are looking for real pakistani cuisine...i recommend the beef kababs and naans Posted on July 23, 2013 |

NR Last review is from June 2012. Has anyony from zabihah.com tried verify one way or another? We need to know whether or not this a qadiyani establishment. Verbal is not good enough. Go look at their invoices and see where the meat and chicken come from. Posted on February 11, 2013 |
|
|
★☆☆☆☆ It's not Halal- The meat comes from a well known Qadyani butcher shop and this proves (despite the rumours) that the restaurant's management is still Qadyani and thus donates 10% of its earnings to the Qadyani Jamat. The food is rubbish here anyways. Posted on June 17, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ The food is good, but they have changed the Naan to a different kind, and this has caused my family and others stomach upset, bring back the previous Naan. The service is very poor, we had to wait 45mins for our food, the people were catering to the walk in more very quickly and servicing their seated client. We complained to the management and they didn't much do anything, Think twice before going. Posted on March 11, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Its a Hit & Miss with Tandoori Time, they have been in business for so long its is a testament of their food quality. But their main issue that needs improvement is consistency. Still the food they make is far better than most of the other so called Pakistani/Indian "take out" spots in Mississauga. Posted on December 30, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ meadow vale location is own by Hindu so please confirm where do they get there meat from Posted on August 8, 2011 |

|
★★★☆☆ I did not like the naans, and that is one of the only reasons why I change restaurant to restaurant, but otherwise it was good food. Posted on June 6, 2011 |

★★★★★ Really nice Keema Naan's. My sister got Food Catered from them and it was all SPLENDID. The quality was gr8. Would recommend this place as usual. Posted on September 17, 2010 |

|
★☆☆☆☆ The Medowvale branch is owned by a Hindu, and the Albion and Maple branch is owned by a Qadiani. While this is still acceptable, there has not been any assurance of where the Halal meat is coming from. Only these three branches buy meat from same supplier. Consume at own risk. ★☆☆☆☆ The food used to be good when the restaurant opened 5 years ago. Now the food quality has gone down and the service is sloppy. My Wife and I went there and ordered food and had to wait almost 30 minutes. When the food came it did not look fresh and the rice was cold. We were extremely disappointed and walked out after paying the bill. The staff was not friendly either.
I will not go there again even if the food is given free of charge. Not recommending it to anyone. Posted on December 30, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Good food and food service. Posted on December 4, 2008 |

|
★★★★☆ Nice place for a family dineout. If you're 4-5 people in a group, the best deal is to go with the dinner for 4 combo. There are a number of choices available in that combo package.
The service is friendly, clean atmosphere, tends to go a bit slow on the service, but that's normal on a busy weekend.
Their Ajax branch and Mississauga branch (Dundas) are quiet good. The one in Meadowale Plaza (Glen Erin/Battleford) seems to be on a different pricing level.
Overall a good place for tasty desi food.

★☆☆☆☆ The food did not turn out as I expected it to. I went one Saturday night. It was crowded but the owner only had like 3 waiters and kept on scolding them as if it was their fault that things were happening the way they were supposed to. So, our food took about 40 minutes. We waited for 40 minutes ! And when the food came, we were dissapointed we ordered one combo and the seekh kabab's were not even properly done. The butter chicken was also not as I expected it to be although the naans were pretty good. We also talked to the owner about why it took so long and he turned out to be very snotty. Definately, never going back again. Posted on April 11, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ This resturaunt is clean, the facility layout and location very similiar with McDonald or Burger King, I went there and order Thaali (lunch combo), the taste of food was average, I mean if don't find good resturuant then you could try this resturaunt with low expectation Posted on December 19, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ One of the tasteless paces I visited. I heard from a friend of mine who is a frequent visitor. But when I entered the resturant I was telling my companian "why do people leave so much of food in plates and go without getting it packed for afterwards use". I was happy to see that the resturant was full of people. But when I ordered my combo meal I left 65% of the food too. Its just good for one time visit Posted on June 1, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ Interesting Tidbid: Apparently they use a cement tandoor and NOT an authentic clay oven. Posted on January 28, 2006 |

|
★★★★☆ pretty good food. nice place to come with the family. not very expensive at all. Recommend the "combo" plates if you are in a large group, since it is cheaper that way. good quality food and the dessert was good too (We tried the Pistachio Kulfi pops and Rasmali) Posted on January 11, 2006 |

★★★★★ The Food is excellent, the decor and also the see through wall towards the tandoor is also fun to watch! Posted on August 14, 2005 |

★★★★★ Overall its food was best in Mississauga. Its food was not like most of other resturants that first time food good and after that so so. It looks they have closed it due to some unknown reasons as from last many months tape is on that "Closed for renovation". Posted on November 19, 2004 |

★★★★☆ Reliably good food even for brunch. My only query is why the prices have gone up slightly, however still not too expensive. Posted on August 25, 2004 |

★★★★★ Your ignorant comments on the owner's faith is the main cause Pakistan has no stability and Peace. Please don't bring your hate to Canada. The restaurant is AWESOME. one of the best places to go.. Posted on April 24, 2004 |

★★★★☆ We've been to the restaurant a few times and like the food. My husband's favourite is chicken shashlik and chick peas. I like all sorts of kebabs they serve on skewers, with naan of course. Since it's not a buffet restaurant, the wait is normal. Nice place to enjoy good quality food, made fresh! Posted on April 8, 2004 |

★★★★★ Asalamolikum - I think what some of us don't understand is that service does tend to slow down a bit when it gets busy, however that is understandable when we go out to other restaurants like Italian, Greek, or Canadian restaurants but when it comes to our own HALAL restaurants, we muslims show impatience and resentment towards the management and the hard working people over there who are trying their best to serve so many people. IS THIS WHAT ISLAM TEACHES US BROTHERS AND SISTERS?? NO I DONT THINK DO WHY BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN 'SABAR' and Allah says those who wait and wait I will reward them for their patience and trust! I have been going at Tandoori Time Mississauga location periodically every week almost and I have seen during lunch service is as fast as a rocket even during weekday nights however on weekends I see that when it is crowded I wait because I know that so many people were here before me so I wait. But you know what they say CAN'T RUSH QUALITY! And Honestly Tandoori Time's food is the best south-asian cusine in Toronto. All of their dishes are splendid and very delicious indeed.
ALSO ONE OTHER THING I HAVE TO SAY TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS THAT TANDOORI TIME IS NO LONGER OWNED BY MIRZAYE/ QADIANI/ AHMEDIYYA and the new owners are MUSLIMS! They took over about 8 months ago so my brothers and sisters we should all go to this restaurant and help these new owners gain business. That is all I have to say. W'salamolikum warahumutalla. ★★★★★ The best desi resturant you can go to. Kababs are outstanding and so is the rest of the food i have tried. Just think that the service it too slow, otherwise love that place. Posted on November 19, 2003 |

★★☆☆☆ I went to try their nihari, which did not taste like nihari at all.it seems like they just added flour into the ordinary curry.kabab were ok but the service was very, very slow. Posted on July 20, 2003 |

★★★★☆ "I've been here twice and both times, both times pleased with the service and food. I am however, dissappointed to read the review which urges individuals not to go to Taandoori Time becasue the owners are Ahmadiyyah. By that account Muslims are very limited in the dining choices simce many establishments which cater to our needs, are not owned by muslims. As long as the food is halal, it's not our place to pass such judgements, that is up to Allah." Posted on May 14, 2003 |

★☆☆☆☆ Food isnt that good.Too mirchi ( spicy), and they give you very little. Place is really small, and has very long wait, also it is very hindu environment not recommeneded. Posted on April 24, 2003 |

★★★★★ This is the only and best tandoori restaurant we have ever tried in Toronto. We highly recommend it to everyone. Their combo for two is superb. Posted on June 1, 2002 |

★☆☆☆☆ I just recently was informed that the people at Tandoori Time are Mirzaye (non-muslims) and when somebody asked the owner if they were, he changed the subject. So, this place is not halal and I would advise my brothers and sisters not to eat there! Posted on February 18, 2002 |

★★★★☆ Two branches - located at 848 Burnhamthorpe west in Mississauga and 1727 Albion Rd in Etobicoke - provide nice food cooked in the traditional Tandoori style. Try their Naan too. Good environment for families. Posted on May 23, 2000 |
