★★★☆☆ nice decor but food is average and over priced... they need to improve their service Posted on January 29, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Bad service. Very rude/arrogant owner. Please don't waste money in there. Posted on November 28, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ Worst restaurant I have ever been to in Toronto. Was invites for dinner by family friends at this restaurant. I got upset stomach from eating their half cooked chicken tandoori/tikka. Bad presentation at buffett tables as well. Would not recommend it to anyone. Posted on June 10, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ We used to go there often, until recently. Last time we went in, there was a Sikh gentleman coming out of the kitchens with wet plates in his hands - in fact a few of the staff are sikh. So, now I'm not sure if the owners are Muslim or not. Also, some madhabs have an issue with najasat due to non-Muslim or non-Ahlul kitaab people cooking or coming into contact with food. ★★☆☆☆ Nice ambience, but the food was not good at all. All dishes tasted the same, as if the base had been prepared in advance for all dishes.
But then, for 11.99 maybe it's not too bad. Make sure, however, that you clarify with them regarding your kids -they wanted to charge us 6.99 for our 3 year old daughter, but didn't. I'll never go there again. Posted on February 1, 2004 |

★★★★★ Without doubt the best Indo-Pak restaurant in the GTA area in terms of overall dining experience. The ambience is superb and the dinner buffet has a large selection of non-veg and veg dishes. The food was just right-neither too spicy, nor too oily. The quality of meat dishes, chicken, lamb and beef was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The only downside is that it is a bit on the expensive side. The dinner buffet will set you back by around $16(including taxes) per person. Posted on December 22, 2003 |

★★★★☆ Food quality was very good to excellent. The food on the buffet table was kept fresh and warm with replenishment coming everytime a dish is about 3/4 empty.
Might be too mild for some people of India/Pakistan background, but suited my taste buds perfectly as I enjoy "medium" spicy dish.
The place is VERY clean and very well decorated, giving the feel of a restaurant 3 times its price range although the guests can definitely use more smile from the staff members.
Considering the quality of food and place, this restaurant offers an excellent value. I am VERY satisfied and will definitely return in the future. Posted on December 15, 2003 |

★★★★☆ Good place overall, but someone should advise them in a good manner to keep their dishes warm. Great tasting food when eaten cold tastes like average food eaten hot. Posted on November 22, 2003 |

★★★★★ "This restaurant is truly beautiful because MOST pakistani restaurantz are horribly decorated or not decorated at all. They're ugly ugly ugly! But Sahara is elegantly decorated. It's was a pleasure to eat there. The food is not very spicy, but it's not bad either. The buffet has a large selection of food, including dessert. The prices are high, very high for buffet. But I guess if you quality, then you gotta pay." Posted on May 24, 2003 |

★★☆☆☆ First time I was there I was there on a party and I loved the food and place. The second time we went there on a buffet and at least one of the dish we tries was old, and expired (smelly). Waiter took the dish back without even saying sorry and never removed the dish from the buffett. We were horrified !! Posted on April 26, 2003 |

★★★★★ "Absolutely amazing food. Tastes just like home cooking. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Those who can't handle spice need to be careful, as the food is authentic, therefore spicy! The atmosphere is much nicer than most Indo/Pak restaurants, and very clean." Posted on April 19, 2003 |

★★★★☆ This is reasonably a good resturant as far as the price and quality is concerned. Posted on December 31, 2002 |

★★★★★ Overall, a great restaurant with excellent food and good service. The prices could be lower, but the elegant feel of the restaurant more than compensates for that (at least compared to other such restaurants). Since space is limited, reservations would be a good idea. Overall, a fantastic place! Posted on September 2, 2001 |

★★★★☆ Excellent authentic Indo/Pak food. There is a daily lunch and dinner buffet or you can order from their menu. Take out is available and did I say that the food was excellent? Posted on April 18, 2000 |
