★☆☆☆☆ people who are raving abt this restaurant clearly have never eaten good food. i ordered their special dum biryani both mutton/chicken and they were HORRIBLE. the mutton was uncooked and rice was all broken and mashed up. poor taste, poor quality and extremely poor presentation. the naan i would give 1/10 .. nothing special for $1.75 seriously, you can do better than that. and lastly the majestic chicken, not even proper breast meat. it was extremely spicy and the meat used was scraped from the drumsticks cuz it was very sticky... over all i was beyond disappointed. thank fully i did a taste tester and brought the food home before taking any guests there for dinner. saved my self from humiliation. save your money and go else where. forget HYDERABADI food. the cook doesnt even know how to cook anything! ★★☆☆☆ My review has nothing to do with the actual food because we never finalized our order. As a Hyderabadi I was excited to take my mom here for her birthday along with my bro and dad. Accessibility is never a consideration for most restaurants so I can't blame them for having a washroom downstairs to which my dad cannot get to on account of his knees and back. We ordered from the menu. The combo was either a) 2 Veg and one side free or b) 1 non-veg and 1 side free. We ordered from the menu. Two minutes later the waitress comes back and says to us that our non-Veg order wasn't part of that deal. In fact the last 3 items on the menu were not eligible for combo-ing. She basically had to go through the list one by one because even she couldnt remember. So we made an adjustment to the order and placed our order. Five minutes later a gentleman comes out and tells us that their combos are only "Happy Hour" eligible and since this is not a Happy Hour, they couldn't give us any combos and we'd have to place the main course and side orders separately. WHY WAS NONE OF THIS SPECIFIED ON EITHER THE WEBSITE OR THE MENU? As customers we felt deceived but as Hyderabadis we felt disappointed. In no mood for further surprises we just up and left. A lot of held back information, too many conditions and non-existent fine print that only exists in the mind of the waiter. Not gonna return, because who knows WHEN the Happy Hour will be. Just hanging the pictures of famous landmarks of Hyderabad doesn't mean we can expect the same standard of service. Posted on August 11, 2014 |

★★★★★ This is a great little restaurant in South Mississauga. The food and the service were great. I'm not usually a big fan of eating Indian food at restaurants, but would definitely make an exception for this place, mainly because the quality of the food here is at a completely different level, and is very unique. Plus, I don't really know too many Hyderabadi restaurants in the GTA. We had the Hyderabadi Biryani, Chicken 65, and Garlic Naan. Top marks for all 3!
I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone craving some high-quality Indian/Pakistani style food. Posted on June 30, 2014 |
