★★★★★ Edit: Last time I stopped by here the store was closed down.
Wow what a nice shop. Happened to drive by when looking for a quick bite to eat. There's a taqueria inside. I had the beef nachos (5.99) and a carne asada soft taco (1.25). Food was fresh and good portions. Meat was seasoned well. They also had BBQ going on outside, with chicken and tri-tip on the grill.
The meat shop inside is first class. There were 5 people on staff helping customers. They do employ some people who may be non-Muslim but the majority are Muslim and plenty of halal signs everywhere. I thinks that's a net positive as it keeps wait time short and I also saw many non-Muslims there to buy meat.
The meat is clean and well displayed behind the counter. They have many cuts of steak as well as marinated fajitas, wings, and chicken as well as short ribs. They supply both hand and machine slaughtered chicken so if it matters to you be sure to ask. The meat area was clean and no smell of meat at all.
Overall this store was a nice surprise and I will be back often for fresh meat and the taqueria. Posted on December 26, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I find that I have to update this review and give them more stars. They've very much improved in the past year, and their t-bone steaks are unequaled. The store is very clean and the prices were competitive. The owners are friendly and always engage me in conversation. The selection of anything from meats to spices is complete. I highly recommend them. Posted on March 16, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Excellent prices and great customer service. I personally feel that we need to be accepting of others and not be narrow-minded if some of the workers are non-muslim. I think this place is a real good example of Modern times and the need for progress. Try their roast chicken bbq- guaranteed you will love it! Posted on August 9, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ I saw a flier for them in the masjid, so I checked them out. The store was clean, but the prices were a little high. I'm also a little confused as to where the Muslims are in this halal business. There were mostly non-Muslims handling the meat, which may be acceptable to some, but not for me. Maybe worth giving them a try and coming up with your own conclusion. Posted on May 9, 2010 |

★★★★★ The comment made by shabana6102 is NOT TRUE! I went to the store and inquired about this myself. The owner not only assured me but also even showed me where the Meat comes from and it all has the HALAL label on the boxes. They also have Halal certificates to prove the authenticity. The owner did explain to me that there are two types of chicken offered - Texas and California (Hand slaughtered and machine slaughtered; they are both Halal, just done by different means.) Every product they carry is Halal and if you want they would gladly show you the boxes and certificates indicating that all their Meat is Halal.
BTW... really nice store guys! Very Clean, and organized :) !! Posted on May 5, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Too bad its not closer to where I live. Because boy..was shopping here a breath of fresh air! Workers were all Muslim when I went that day. The meat was presented so nicely, they even asked how I was, if I needed anything..smiled..the whole bit...I almost didnt know where I was at, like that bro said...thought he was at Raleys! TRY THE BRISKET...it's actually a decent price (its is very expensive in general)...get some recipies, you will love brisket...good prices too. I am happy they finally opened up. HEY..does anyone know if this is supposed to be Prime's new location? Posted on May 5, 2010 |

★★★★★ The atmosphere, service and store quality felt more like a Bel-Air or Raleys then other Muslim shops around town which generally are not as nice as this one. Prices were also much better then ive seen. Another plus is they also sell Organic Halal meat. Posted on April 8, 2010 |

★★★★★ very convenient location just off the freeway 99/exit florin rd. east with plenty of parking.
I visited this place with my wife and son. First time ever i found a desi halal store this clean. Owned by muslim family who were extremely nice.
Huge meat selection and on-site butcher was very polite. they even had halal duck. Basically they can cut the meat anyway you tell them to.
Prices of meat were cheaper and grocery prices were fair.
I would recommend this place to everyone. Posted on March 18, 2010 |
