★★★★★ went their to attend a birthday party. Had their brunch buffet. It was excellent. Owner used to be a manager in one famous restaurant in Edison, NJ. He has same kind of standards. Posted on April 26, 2013 |

★★★★★ Excellent food. Had Sunday brunch. I tried everything on menu and needless to say, all of the stuff was great. Owner formerly owned shahnawaz in Edison and we all know there food is great. Will repeat many times. Posted on January 15, 2013 |

★★★★★ Really like their food, and the service is great. Spoken with owner multiple times, very personable. Come many times for CAMP New Jersey conferences but also just for dinner and have not been disappointed. Posted on November 4, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ Extremely disappointed with their customer service. I had called to ask if they serve iftari and do I need to make any reservations. They asked how many ppl and I said only one. They said come over no reservation needed. I drove 45 mins and upon arrival was refused as no seat was available. I was speechless. If was just a couple of minutes to iftari and they didn't even offered a glass of water or a date. I kept thinking why they told me to come over. Probably they got a bigger party and they honor their profits more than their words. Posted on August 4, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Been here a few times to grab some dinner. Byrani, kabobs, nan and other standard dishes are pretty good. The place itself looks well maintained and the staff was friendly. Posted on January 7, 2012 |

★★★★★ We eat regularly at Shahi Palace. The place is very well maitained and offers excellant choices of vegetarian & non-vegetarian dishes at reasonable prices. Their lunch buffet is a great bargain with many choices, including a variety of deserts and tea [regular & Kashmiri]. Our favorite dishes include Haryali & Tandoori chicken, Paya, Nihari, Haleem, Goat curry, Bihari Kabobs, Fried Fish, Biryani. Today they had a special dinner buffet for Thanksgiving which had several Turkey dishes. Posted on November 24, 2011 |

★★★★☆ We just had dinner at this place after hearing they had good food. So lets break it down.
First off this place is not easy to find, the address placed in the GPS does locate it. Its about 1/2 mile down further in the ACME plaza on the left, kinda hidden. We were seated quickly, friendly staff, very knowledgeable. So they have your basic run of the mill pakistani food, nothing out of the ordinary. However, what did upset me was that I was feeling warm inside and had to ask for the AC to be put on, which was turned off for some reason. Not a good way to keep customers.
Well lets get to the food, the food was great. The food is fresh, the meat was tender and there was no smell within food. The food was prepared fairly quickly and well presented. We had the Chick tikka masala, gosht Karai, naan, lamb chops and chicken behari kebab. All were served in good portions, enough for 4 adults and 2 children. The pricing is average as with other places. But overall, I was satisfied with the food, the spice, quantity and overall quality of the food was good. Its a good addition for the area that has no halaal desi food around. Posted on September 9, 2011 |

★★★★★ The buffet they have here at Shahi palace is by far the best I have ever had. I am Indian and the food that was offered on the weekend and weekday buffet made me feel right at home. There was such a variety of mouthwatering foods that made me go for seconds. The restaurant is very clean and neat and the waiters were very nice. My favorite dishes at the buffet were the Alou Subzi, Chicken Biryani. Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tika Masala and many more. The buffet includes a variety of deserts , mango lassi and soda. As a very happy and satisfied customer im pleased to recommend Shahi Palace to everyone. Posted on May 29, 2011 |

★★★★☆ The weekend buffet is one of the best I've had. There were 50 + items. Everything tasted really nice. I especially enjoyed the pani puri and chaat stations. Nihari, haleem and tandoori chicken were really good. Fast and friendly service and the restaurant is clean. I definitely recommend. Posted on May 16, 2011 |
