★★☆☆☆ Nothing spectacular. Food was bland and staff was unresponsive, would help if they learned how to show good service even tho they have a language barrier. Posted on November 9, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ A sign at the door said it had receiving a low grade during a surprise health department inspection. The waitress dismissed it. Food wasn't great. This place plays sloppy seconds to the original Darda in Milipitas. It is worth the extra 15 minute or so drive for us. Posted on November 19, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Pretty good food. Cleanliness seems to be an issue. Sorry can't deal with that. Posted on September 21, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ I can't do this place. I just can't.
It's the shalwar doubling as a curtain in the hallway.
It's the horrible tasting hot and sour soup.
It's the hair in my food.
I just can't do this place. I haven't been able to do it for years, ever since I stopped going to the Milpitas location. Posted on September 18, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ I've been eating at this restaurant since 2006. The food is good. The service is so so but all in all it is good Chinese food. Posted on November 9, 2012 |

★★★★☆ My best buddy and I rock this place about once a week. Maybe it's our uncultivated palettes or whatever, but we haven't moved past the chili chicken and Mongolian beef. I'd recommend the Mongolian beef earlier in the week and the chili chicken later in the week (different cooks? I don't know). I also suggest you don't let that chili chicken sit out too long before you chomp. If it dries out, the experience is worsened considerably--but still good and perfectly edible.
I rate this shy of excellent because they can substitute spice for flavor and it's a smidge pricey.
And the only perfection is with God.
BONUS UPDATE: I just called Darda, and they said the entire menu is halal, but especially my beloved Mongolian beef and chili chicken. Posted on July 25, 2012 |

★★★★★ Excellent, The service... man they get you the food in 1 min!! I was visiting California for a week and I made it a point to come here for lunch and dinner every day. I love their Mongolian Beef and Noodles!
The place is small, but is always full anytime.
Some people say its half halal, but I checked with the owner and everything, everythings fine, its all halal. Posted on December 30, 2011 |

NR Why is it saying it's half halal? I want to eat here...does anyone ask yet? It's difficult to talk to the staff who can not speak English well and they are non Muslim, I don't know how I feel about thier opinion....I just had the vegi stuff until I find out.. Posted on August 26, 2011 |
Partial halal menu means that there are some items on the menu that are not halal, and the other items are. You need to confirm with staff to make sure. |

★★★★☆ Darda Seafood restaurant has opened up a location in Fremont. It is the exact same menu as the original restaurant in Milpitas. Still offering lunch specials for around $6 and all of the same dinner dishes. My favorite is the chicken with hot chili, cumin lamb and the the sweet and sour chicken with, of course, an order of the thin green onion pancake bread. This place is not as big as the Milpitas location but still decent sized. I recommend. Posted on July 6, 2011 |
