★☆☆☆☆ i was really disappointed with this restaurant. my husband and i came here twice, the second time hoping that there would be better service and servings. unfortunately we were wrong. i really wanted to like this place especially since it was Moroccan food but everything from the food to the service was awful. there are really small portions and i feel like their spices aren't authentic. it just seemed like something i could make at home and was not very impressed. the owners are really nice and are trying really hard...maybe too hard. but i had to rate my overall two experiences so low because of how disappointed we were. ★☆☆☆☆ The food, service, portions and value was poor. I could go on to how I truly feel, but my post won't make it on because it will be deemed mean. My friends and I will never go again. Posted on July 6, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ Ever heard of a Moroccan restaurant that doesn't serve KusKus?? Well you found it. We asked for KusKus and were told that they were no longer serving it and the menu had changed. Food was terrible....served on plastic plates, the service was poor.....the only positive about this place was the decor. Oh and did I mention the drinks.....the Moroccan ice tea tasted like bath water! Posted on July 3, 2008 |

★★☆☆☆ Like "sumairian", the ambience is about the only good thing about this place. The food is not bad, but it is definitely not worth the price. $50 for a two person meal with one appetizer, one drink, and no dessert at a cafe is unreasonable. Each entree, all of which appear to have small portions, are about $15 each.
There are much better options for your money and time in Anaheim and Fullerton. Posted on June 30, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ This place needs a lot of work. I waited to go to this place on the weekend just for their Bastilla and considering it was $16.99, I figured it'd be worth the money. I asked the waitress how big it was and she motioned a size that was twice as big as it actually was when it came out-- I was surprised that such a small, pre-made (it was made earlier that morning and we were there at 7 PM) piece of bastilla was priced so high. It has marks for good flavor, but the chicken in it was pretty dry. The "mint tea" was extremely watered down and did not even have a hint of mint flavor. You would think they'd get the clue when NO one in our party finished it and asked for it to be removed from the table. One friend ordered a guava smoothie that tasted so bad he asked for it to be replaced, and she refused. Everyone else in our party was less than impressed (there were 10 of us) with their dinners -- small portions, chewy meat, and very poor service. We will not be going back. There are way too many good zabihah restaurants in Anaheim to waste time or money at this one. Posted on June 30, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ This place definitely gets points for ambiance --- the indoor fountain and lighting were very nice --- but other than that, it was a supreme disappointment. We will NEVER go back.
I spent $50 on food that simply was not restaurant quality: the "grilled" (muhammar) chicken was actually sauted; the lamb was chewy; the portions were miniscule; and the food was both late and cold.
The main attraction (food) aside, the restaurant is not staffed appropriately, the air was absolutely stifling, and --- get this --- the waitress gave us a lecture because our large party needed to split the bill across multiple credit cards!
It tries to be a chic upscale hot spot, but fails miserably. Posted on June 29, 2008 |

★★★★★ We had a chance to visit Karma Cafe a few times already and are very impressed with quality and freshness of all dishes as well as prompt, friendly and attentive service. And on top of that - prices are lower than other Moroccan restaurants in the area. Highly recommend Karma Cafe to all!! Posted on April 1, 2008 |

★★★★☆ This new addition to the growing Halal-serving restaurants is a welcome addition. It is the only restaurant serving Halal Moroccan food in the entire Southern California. While beer/wine will be available, it will be a separate part of the restaurant and not part of the revenue for the Muslim-part of the restaurant partnership. Recommended dish: Kabobs, fried Pita-filled items and Heart Stopper dessert. Posted on March 22, 2008 |
