★★☆☆☆ This place should be called 'Astaghfirullah'. The place was filthy which made the average food experience even worse. As muslims we are obligated to being clean and it should show in our actions and our establishments. The management was nice but should seriously consider investing in a cleaning crew to improve customer experience. Posted on June 29, 2017 |

NR Parking requires some searching but can park along with the movie place parking right behind the restaurant. they share that with Bismilliah, the best chicken tikka, salan, kabab, Haleem and biryani.
Is small with complementary and priced cheap as well.

★★★★★ Took my parents to this place for lunch. They LOVED it! Fresh, flavorful, and relatively inexpensive. What's not to love? The owner was very nice also. We enjoyed the chicken tikka, chicken korma, nihari, haleem, and heavenly fluffy naans! YUM! Give them a try. Posted on May 21, 2015 |

★★★★★ This has become THE BEST PAKISTANI restaurant in all of Fremont, and one of the best in the Bay Area. The location is right near Nas Cinema. There is plenty of parking in the back. The service is great - the owner was the friendliest Muslim Restaurant owner I've ever met! And of course, the food is the best part. Everything we ordered was delicious and the price is hard to beat. Ate with three ppl for less than $25. I have a new favorite Pakistani restaurant in Fremont! Posted on January 22, 2011 |

★★★★★ Food Tastes much better than other restaurants. I am addicted to their Nihari and Lamb Biryani. Very courteous owner. Remember 2 things, take cash and Parking is on the backside of the building but no regrets about the food. If you want to enjoy the yummy food, this is the place to be. Posted on January 13, 2011 |

★★★★★ This is one of best Pakistani restaurants I've ever eaten at and trust me, I've eaten at a lot of Pakistani restaurants! Seriously some of the best chicken tikka masala I've ever had. Excellent naan, very fresh and fluffly. Seekh kabobs are top notch! Pretty much anything on the menu is heads and shoulders above most other places.
I know the brother who owns the place and I can personally attest to his expertise and experience in the food business. He's a really nice guy who will make sure that his customers are satisfied.
Also, the prices are very reasonable. I went there with a group of five guys and we all ate our fill for around $30, so $6 a piece which is not bad at all. Posted on December 29, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ This is a great place for South-Asian food. This spot was was formerly and Afghan restaurant and now it is a South Asian spot, located in "Little Kabul". The food here was really good. The chicken tikka and Sheikh Kabobs are worth trying. The place is neat and clean and the service is pretty good. Just remember to have enough cash on you prior to your visit as they take cash only (otherwise you will have to use the 3rd party ATM inside). Posted on September 27, 2010 |

★★★★★ Very well organized restaurant. All the dishes were brought to the table at the same time including the naans. The food is very comparable to shalimar and Shan.
The owners and the managers were very well-mannered and friendly, and were also very accomodating. I recommend the restaurant very highly. Posted on October 24, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ Great Naans. Brain Masala & Lamb chops tasty & spicy. Not much of atmosphere/plate presentation. Next to Naz Cinema. Prices are bit high for hole in the wall place. Not for a family outing. Go alone if you like hot food.7/2/08. Posted on July 3, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ This is the only desi restaurant in Fremont that I go to after trying all other this is still better. there biryani is good and if you ask for tandoori chicken make sure you ask for well cooked. Another thing I won't recommend this place to eat when they are BUSY coz then they tend to mess the food. Posted on December 7, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Very fresh and tasty food! Comparable to Shalimar, Shan, etc. Located in "Little Afghan" area of Fremont, so nice to have some variety and more food choices around there. Nihari, Seekh Kabab, Chicken Boti Tandoori and Naans are all excellent. They only take cash but have ATM machine instead which is convienent. Posted on April 29, 2007 |

★★★★☆ This restaurant is really good. Tandoori items and nehari were very tasty. In my opinion, Bismillah ranks in the top (i.e., location, price, service, tasty food, etc.) as compared to the other desi restaurants in the area serving similar food. Service is friendly and the food came out fast and was fresh and tasty. This restaurant only accepts cash, however there is an non-bank ATM on site for patrons who normally use plastic. I recommend this place. I will return. Posted on April 29, 2007 |

★★★★★ The food here is excellent! The chicken tikka and the seekh kabobs were moist, not charred all over, and had just the right spice level. The haleem and korma were also very tasty. The restaurant has a pleasant setting, and the staff is very service oriented. The chai here is top notch, and the perfect way to end a quality meal! Posted on January 21, 2007 |
