★★★★★ This place rocks! The food is absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered including desert was delicious! Everything on their menu is halal. They have belly dancing in the evenings so if you're not into that, call ahead to confirm. If you enjoy hookah, they have accommodations for that as well. The service is exceptional and the owner makes sure everything is to your liking. One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in town, if not the best! Posted on April 7, 2013 |

★★★★☆ CALL FIRST!!!! I've been here before and was told food was halal, I wanted to call ahead to ask if they fried everything in the same fryer because I know they do not carry hand cut chicken (for those that are particular, their chicken comes from restaurant depot, which is NOT HAND CUT). Instead of asking the specific question, I asked if they carried 'halal meat'. The person on the phone seemed confused so she asked someone else (who I think was the owner). Nevertheless, he said 'THAT TRUCK WILL COME NEXT WEEK!!!!'. They were still open and presumably running on haram meat. Now I'm worried about what they served me the last few times I was there. Maybe halal or maybe 'that truck' didn't come that week either. Their food is good, but confirm that they have halal meat FOR THE SPECIFIC ENTREE you are ordering. ALSO, the menu on their website is different from the one in the store. The Filet Mignon (on the website) shows to have 'RED WINE SAUCE', so be careful!! Also, their Churasco comes with chimi churri sauce. You need to ask them what brand or what chimmi churri they use because the most common one from Badia has white wine. I haven't had a chance to confirm this from them though so I don't know what sauce they use for that steak. Lastly, I still do not know if they fry chicken/meat/pork/ haram meat (which they obviously serve since they were operating without 'the halal truck' having come). If someone can find that out it would be useful. If all is well and they do start carrying legitimate halal meat and handcut chicken, their food is good. My rating is only based on quality of food, compared to other halal restaurants in Miami, not confusion of whether it is halal or not. Posted on January 13, 2014 |

★★★★★ Excellent food, wife ordered Churrasco steak while I ate Filet Mignon Steak, both were cooked throughout as requested. Halal sign is on the menu and staff confirmed Halal status. Large portions, each dish came with two sides. We ordered Macchiato white coffee to finish the meal. So far this is the only restaurant I have found in South Florida that serves steak.
