NR This is not Taste of Pakistan anymore- it is owned by Hindus and called Bombay Grocery & Kebab Corner. I would not recommend ordering from here. Posted on May 16, 2020 |

★★★☆☆ There are only family ladies running this place. Not a family place to dine in. But worth a try. I had keema samosas, Tea and Shami bun kabab. Tastes good. Posted on July 28, 2015 |

★★★★☆ The food is good. Tried the biryani, samosas, beef kababs, chicken boti, Charga. The naans were also real good. The prices are reasonable. The kulfis are amazing and the aunties are very nice and genuine.
My main gripe is the huge pictures of Agha Khan around the store. Posted on April 12, 2014 |

★★★★★ A hole in the wall restaurant with delicious food, quite inexpensive and amazing fresh naans!! Place is run by 4 aunties. We love the nihari with freshly made nans. Yum! Posted on January 20, 2014 |

★★★★★ I went there today. Just had the biryani and raita. The biryani was really good, felt like the biryani that my wife makes. The place was neat and clean, its not upscale but the prices weren't either. Biryani for $3 and it fills you up, what else do you need! And pop isnt $5, its under a dollar. ★★★★☆ We ate here the other night. well take out really, had the nihari and it was really good. it came with rice and for a buck more you can get a big piece of naan. it is not a fancy place to eat at, but the food is really good and the staff is helpful and friendly. Posted on November 21, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ This place is ok - it reminds me of al-markaz when it comes to taste. For the money, its economical and decent. Posted on December 3, 2005 |

★★★★★ On october 21, I visited "taste of Pakistan" for the first time. I went there after work, around 4pm. It is located in a strip mall, and is mostly takeout, but does have I think I remember about 4 or 5 tables. The owners also run the counter. As a white person, it can be intimidating sometimes to go to authentic Indian and Pakistani places. But the owners were trying to be helpful. The menu is limited, and I remember seeing some Karhai ( Kadai?) dishes, meat and chicken, also some boti dishes. Also some Ghost ( lamb?) I wanted some lamb, but he nodded they were out, and since I wanted something spicy, he suggested the "Nihari". It was awesome. For folks who haven't tried it, it is like our beef stew. But instead of lots of veggies, it substitutes lots of spices, (cumin, garlic paste, etc). It is like a thick gravy. I would say about medium spicy, it won't burn your mouth, but prob. too spicy for granny! It has a hunk of beef in the bottom of the container ( I got "to go", and it was very tasty, and "fork -tender". You just take the side of your fork, and the meat just rolled right off into bite size pieces. The topper? You get almost a hub-cap sized piece of "naan". You just dip your bread into the Nihari. I believe the price was 5.99. I found this food to be very good and will work this place into my "frequent" list. Posted on October 31, 2005 |
