HALAL SUMMARY
A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises of this restaurant.
NR Don't know what is with this location as many businesses have opened and closed. Parking is a big issue.
I've been there twice and both times I was disappointed beyond belief. Once I was invited to a party and the host was horrified at service/ food quality. Even employees were complaining openly about the owner. Owner had very bad attitude and seems to not care about customers and service. Both times food was horrible and I was dumbfounded. Couldn't believe this place was in business. Posted on September 25, 2011
★★★★★ I love the food and love the big portions and the cheap price. The correct phone number for the Resturant is 516-354-8292, they now have signs for choopan grill on their Resturant so I believe the owners changed but the food is still amazing and menu is still same Posted on August 28, 2011
★★★★★ Me and my wife ate here for the first time since this place opened up a few months back. First off let me start by saying that as an afghan myself I take our food very seriously. We always head out to main st flushing for afghan food but I must say this place tops all the afghan restaurants I have been to from huntington to astoria queens.
The best part of all was opening up the menu and looking at the prices. Everything was bet 5-12 bucks! As afghan food can be up to 28 for an entree, we were very impressed and automatically thought the food must be horrible based on price. We dared to test it out. I got a combination grilled kabob of chicken, lamb tikka and koobideh w brown rice and my wife got lamb chops. Not only was the portion good, the kabobs were soo juicy and perfectly seasoned that Im craving it just 2 hrs later, no exxageration. We are going back tomorrow! What would cost us 50 elsewhere only cost us 26 bucks! Posted on December 31, 2009
