★★☆☆☆ Bad service, took forever to serve what seemed to be precooked/overcooked food. 3 different waiters and none of them bothered to take your plates or check how you're doing or if you need something like a drink. Also, got the order wrong and argued over it. The only good thing was the plain rice. Order take out plain rice and you will be happy. Posted on September 27, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ The place is average. Not the most authentic afghan food.
The good
Relative to the area a nice place to sit down in.
Kabuli pulow is good.
The bad
The beef kofta kabab is a dry seekh kabab. Not even the right shape. The chicken breast is dry. The lamb has that gamey smell at times.
The ugly
It is a hang out for uncles. Some are smoking and just having a blast. Seems like that is the regular clientele.
Over all not a bad choice but has average food and plus place to eat for the area.
Green team has lemon in it as well. Was different than what I have had in the past but was good.
Three out of 5. Posted on December 19, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ I am writing this review because I went to this place based on the good reviews here....and I was so disappointed. The food was below average. The owner will stand on your head the whole time. He over charged us for everything. And when he keeps on bringing you appetizers, don't think they are complimentary, it will be on your bill. If you're going to believe any review....believe me.......this place is not worth it!!!! Posted on January 29, 2012 |

★★★★☆ A good place to try out while in NJ- clean, quick and good food. We ordered various types of kebobs and rice- they were delicious and price was not too expensive. Owners are very kind people. Would definately come back! Posted on September 10, 2011 |

★★★★★ Finally a superb halal Afghan restaurant in the central Jersey area. As we walked in the space felt cozy and full of afghan artifacts and decorations. Over all the ambiance was relaxing. Nice pushto beats added to the mood and charm of the place. The staff was very courteous and greeted us like family... They suggested the mix platter with the variety of all kinds of kabobs. I particularly liked the charred tandoori. It was crispy on the outside and soft and delish in the inside.
They also served us complimentary crispy samomsay.... they were to die for... we will definately be going there again soon. Posted on May 5, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ I guess this is considered Afghani food, although it didn't seem readily apparent from the food. The chicken and kafta kabob were average. Place is clean and service was ok. This place is only average for me. Posted on February 5, 2011 |

★★★★★ Went here during very short stay in jersey for a wedding and was staying close to the airport. We had the kafta kabob and lamb steak. Both dishes were great and we especially liked the three sauces on the side. Food was fresh and fast and the service was good, also nicely decorated inside. Posted on January 1, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ My opinion about this place would be moderately clean although there were flies there the owner tries to be too friendly the food was nothing to rave about but I hated the rice they put gharam masala in there rice also too much cumin in the kabobs nothing to rave about..... ★★★★★ This place is cozy & friendly, was there with couple of friends while ago. Nice place to eat out, we ordered assorted items, all were fresh and good but their afghan rice & BBQ were awesome. There is place to pray too, clean wash room & ample parking space. Posted on September 29, 2010 |
