★★☆☆☆ Their quality and taste has gone downhill. Not as good as they used to be. Posted on April 24, 2016 |

NR Sub-par nihari especially for a place called nihari cafe! Kebabs, biryani, DAAL, Karahi and KHEER were amazing! Service was really good. Posted on March 12, 2016 |

★★★★★ Food is good - I tried chicken karachi and biryani so far and both were good. Fresh naans are really good. If you are expecting fine dining experience - that may not be for you and if you want to enjoy good food in ok place - you must try this. Posted on June 17, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ I have eaten here twice. The food is okay. The interior needs a lot of work. There were flies all over the place. The service is lackluster at best. I might still get food from here, but it will likely be a takeaway. Posted on November 2, 2014 |

★★★★★ This place is great! And it is 100% halal don't believe the hater below, doesn't know what he is talking about. Nihari is pretty good here. Posted on March 13, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Location is tucked away behind a 7-11 store. Food was really good. Friend recommend the place. They don't have butter chicken on the menu but are able to make it if you ask. Nihari was really good too. Large portions for reasonable price. Would recommend. Posted on October 26, 2013 |

★★★★★ The food is just fabulous. Nehari, kebabs, biryani etc are all very desi and are hard to find in Michigan.
Totally recommend it.
Also, please ignore the comments that Saad WholeSale Meat is non-zabiha. People who have no knowledge love to malign a perfectly legitimate halal business. Posted on October 1, 2012 |

★★★★★ Nihari Cafe is one of the best pakistani restaurant around. Owners are pakistanis and I personally know them. I always go there because I think their food is excellent, especially the curries. All chicken and Lamb dishes offer typical authentic pakistani taste. Their nihair is also very good. Give it a try. It s a small, clean and friendly place. Posted on December 30, 2009 |

★★★★★ Well I'm pretty sure this is one of the very few Pakistani restaraunts left in the Detroit suburbs. The food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. Not a bad environment though I wish they still had their buffet open. Posted on November 21, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ Looks like the management has changed. The new name is Nihari Restaurant. Food is not bad.
Their lunch buffet is $7.99 on weekdays. Even though they say they accept Visa or Mastercard, the transaction has to be more than 10 dollars. So inorder to have a lunch buffet, you should carry cash. I once recommended this place for lunch to my work collegues and they changed the idea of going there after learning that they should carry cash for less than 10 dollars. Posted on October 6, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Good food, you should know what you want. Chicken wrap is ultimate, the owners are from Bangladesh and makes good asain indian food. Weekend buffet is worth a try, price is reasonable. Posted on May 31, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ Several good dishes. Lunch buffet on Sunday is very filling. Best item is Tandoori chicken. Posted on April 8, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Solost - there are different types of korma and the korma you had is actually right. I guess they forgot to specify thta it was WHITE KORMA, which is also usually served sweet.
Anyway, the food was really good especially the tikka!! Posted on February 6, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ This particular location of Aladdin serves profoundly Bad food. The servers are nice, service is fast, however the food is not worth it. Dont get me wrong, it is edible food. Its just not Desi. I asked for chicken korma on my last visit there, and I received what can best described as yougurt chicken. It was white. Upon objection, the chef (a nice guy) came out to explain that this was indeed Korma. Ive had the same dish at the other location and it was brown/red in color and delicious.
Aladdin has another location in Hamtramck on Conant Ave. I am a fan and frequent it, despite the 30 minute drive. Posted on October 5, 2007 |
