★★☆☆☆ I came here once. There wasn't any belly dancing that night, it was actually a very laid back atmosphere. The food was ok. Not really something I'd go back for. I went with some work colleagues and we tried a bunch of things from the menu. I wasn't a fan of most of it. They had this one dish called Bastilla. That was really good! I would honestly just go back to eat that, though I still haven't been back, and it's been like 8 months.
It was pretty pricey from what I remember. Parking is also inconvenient. There's a lot down the street that you can park at, but you have to tell them to give you a voucher for your dashboard.
Overall, I'm sure I could get better Moroccan food somewhere else. Posted on August 24, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ Very expensive place. Waste of money. Terrible food (wanna be moroccan food). Great please for drunks who wouldn't know where their money went. ATM will charge you 5 bucks fee as they only take CASH while menu starts from $30 bucks. Posted on November 2, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ Sleazy place with older men dancing with women with painted faces like soap opera stars. Posted on March 2, 2005 |

★★☆☆☆ I think the main attraction in this place for people is the music and belly dancing. As far as food is concerned I have been disappointed 'twice' and after that I haven't been there again. Also its not a place to go with kids and family: belly dancing + they freely serve alcohol. Posted on January 31, 2004 |

★★★★☆ Of the two well-known Moroccan places in the greater DC area, I like the cuisine here the best. The atmosphere is almost touristy and fun, but the portions are true to Moroccan style, huge, the preparation very nice, and the taste better than some of the competition... Belly dancers are friendly and make you feel very welcome... and if you're in for a great evening, come Sat. evening and dance the night away to Arab music until 2am... Posted on October 21, 2003 |
