★★★★★ Fine food- pizza was one of the best I've had. Lots of tasty sandwiches. Nice find!! Posted on February 4, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ One of the worst meals I've ever been forced to eat in my life! Everything was terrible! I almost threw up. My baby cousin can make better pizza and he doesn't even walk yet. I never say negative things about places, but consider this doing everyone a favor! Do not eat here. Soooo much salt, I couldn't finish my food. My family left hungry and threw away most of the food! Hope this helps Posted on December 31, 2013 |

★★★★★ they are very good. all meat is beef but not all is zabihah, but they you till you which is and which is not. I love the BBQ chicken and the Chicken pesto pizza, they both are halal. and all the people there are muslims :) Posted on November 14, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ The food was alright but not terrible. The fact that they also have non zabihah meat is discerning but they are very honest in telling customers. I believe the menu for Istanbul Kebab is all halal but their joint operation (a pizza parlor) is not always halal...so if you're ordering from the Miramar Pizza menu make sure you ask about what meats are halal. ★★★☆☆ The food is expensive and nt really that great. I'm not sure I'll go here again. Posted on December 21, 2012 |

★★★★★ The good thing that they tell u that every think they have in the menu is beef but not all is Zabihah, and they give you up to 6 kind of Zabihah meat. I really trust them. Posted on September 25, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ I enjoyed this place it was clean bright and warm. The bathroom was clean. The food was good but the real thing I enjoyed was the deep dish pizza it was big deep warm not bland. It had the right amount of sauce and had an amazing amount of cheese. I will return definitely. Also I will recommend this place to many people looking for good pizza Posted on February 27, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I talked to the owner and he said that for Halal Pizza, it does take time. The slices they sell for lunch are with non-zabihah beef, there is no pork. The owner was kind enough to give me halal pepperoni on top of cheese pizzas slices. The pizzas were good especially the chicago style deep dish pizza. As for the Turkish food, all of it is Halal. ★★★☆☆ Nothing special here. They had the regular kebab and gyro menu that was Zabihah.. But in the pizzA menu.. They only had BBQ chicken !! Everything else was not zabiha ! Posted on September 24, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Not everything on their menu is halal. You have to ask for halal meat. Their pizza was OK at best, and their lasagna left a lot to be desired. I am surprised at all these reviews. Honestly may be these people need to try the halal pizza in NJ, and then they might agree with me. Posted on June 13, 2011 |

★★★★★ This restaurant was awesome!!! The owner, Ahmad, is very welcoming and hospitable. His staff were extremely friendly. We had caesar salad, 16'' deep dish Chicago style pizza, hot wings, bbq wings and Pepsi.
The pizza was incomparable to any kind of pizza I've ever had before--it was deeeeelicious!!! The wings were also very good as was the salad. Overall, the experience was excellent and I strongly believe this restaurant has potential to be among the top pizza dine-in's in San Diego. I strongly recommend anyone reading this to stop by and check this place out.
Suggestions: Make restaurant aesthetically appealing and give it a Turkish "flare" to enhance the dine-in experience. That will really complement the awesome food. Also, I strongly suggest moving to a bigger location when possible since the tables are a bit small. Posted on April 3, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Ok, so here goes nothing. This is my first review on zabihah.com. Let's start with how the place looked: nice, clean and bright. I liked that the bathroom was clean and had a low sink making it easy to do wudu. Let's get to the important stuff, the food. We had a chicken Philly, this sandwich was filling but lacked any seasoning making it bland. We had red lentil soup that was very nice, not to spicy. The borak oily and did not hit the spot. The deep dish pizza was definitely a hit. I will return again and tell people to try it out. Posted on February 13, 2011 |

★★★★★ This place was incredible. Th place has Zabihah chicken, ground beef, and Pepperoni for its Pizza items (the other side items for the Miramar section are not Zabihah, but all the items from the Istanbul Kebab menu are Zabihah -- they are 2 restaurants combined together -- if you are still confused please check with the staff). We had the barbecue chicken deep dish pizza and it was extremely delicious and cooked well. It tasted exactly like authentic Chicago deep dish pizza. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was the first Zabihah place I had been to which had Chicago deep dish pizza. The prices are not too bad the place is neat and clean with adequate seating. Definitely a place worth checking out. Posted on December 20, 2010 |

★★★★★ I ordered the manager's special zabihah meat pizza (NY style) and it was the best meat pizza I have ever tasted. The pizza was ready in less than 15 minutes of placing the pick-up order. The zabihah meat included beef salami, beef sausage, and ground beef. The NY style thin-crust is perfect with the tomato sause, cheese and toppings. Needless to say, me and my wife really liked it. Insha'Allah, next time I will be ordering the Chicago-sytle deep-dish meat lover's pizza. Just a side-bar -- The brother (Hafiz Ahmed) who owns the store led the Tarawih prayers at MCC in San Diego. I wish him all the success. Posted on October 16, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Not everything was Zabihah Halal. I had to special order it. I had a chicken Pizza and it was very good and fresh. Thin crust with just the right amount of flavor. Posted on September 28, 2010 |

★★★★★ My friends and I went to this place for first time last night. Owner was very pleasant and up front and honest about what things on the menu r and not zabihah. Everything is halal reallt but if ur looking for zabihah then all pizza ingredienta and toppings and the chicken subs are zabihah
The pizza was great and im not just saying that to be a nice guy. we ordered the large chicago pizza with beef and pepperoni and it was so filling i ate. the rest tomorrow lol still was good.
brothers are good muslims and professional and the place is nice and clean. brother even brought us turkish pizza on the house cuzz we had to wait little while for pizza. of all the halal. american food placea and non american i have to say this is my favorite thus far.
you wont regret it and def get chicago style pizzas. Posted on September 17, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Called to ask about their halal status. Was told zabihah chicken, ground beef, and sujook was in stock and would be used if requested. Said they do not serve pork items, other non-zabihah items are primarily beef based.
AFAIK this is the only place in San Diego currently serving Chicago style deep dish pizza with Zabihah ingredients. This alone is worth the try. I had a pleasant experience with the staff & manager. I would recommend calling ahead as the deep dish pizza may take some time to prepare.
