Excellent Halal Mexican Food. Tried the Steak Fajitas which were great. Comes with Tortillas, Guac, Onions, Sizzling Platter of Steak pieces & grilled veggies, and your choice of side (I picked Mexican rice). They give you complimentary chips and salsa which are good as well. Friendly service with nice interior. Highly recommended. Posted on September 3, 2014 |

Loved the food. Halal fajitas, hot freshly made tortilla chips, what's not to love. I can't speak for authenticity because I'm not mexican but standard mexican American restaurant fare, but it's clean, looks nice, with yummy and visually appealing food. Mmm Posted on December 8, 2013 |

At the time of this writing, the overall rating is 3.9 which I personally think is too low.
This is an excellent restaurant serving truly authentic halal mexican food with an excellent ambience at a reasonable price. Indeed it is probably the favourite restaurant of my wife and myself. We frequent it on an almost weekly basis. Posted on August 24, 2013 |

ββ CAN ANYONE VERIFY WHERE THESE GUYS GET THERE MEAT FROM? I CALLED THEM AND ASKED WHERE THEY GOT THERE MEAT FROM AND THEY DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO ANSWER. SO I WILL NOT EAT THERE FOR NOW UNTIL I CAN VERIFY IF THESE GUYS ARE REALLY SERVING HALAL MEAT. IF SOMEONE VERIFIES PLEASE LEAVE THE PLACE IN THE REVIEWS OF WHERE THEY GET THERE MEAT FROM.
THANKS. Posted on March 6, 2013 |

Amazing experience. The seating area and ambience is ok. But once the fresh, seasoned made-from-scratch tortillas and salsa are served you know the rest of the food will follow in flavor and authenticity.
Nothing on the menu will disappoint. Posted on January 26, 2013 |

ββ The ambience is nice. The food was okay. I prefer the flavors of other mexican restaurants. The food was a bit bland for my taste. I am willing to give it another shot, though. Posted on January 2, 2013 |

βββ I visited this restaurant on a recent graduation trip to Michigan..
Here is my two cents...
The owner seems to be middle Easter, perhaps lebanese and then a very friendly couple who perhaps could have great great...greatttt grandparents to be south America. Or perhaps Mexican because they certainly wherent..
The decor was very well balanced with portraits of ethnic women and ethnic music playing in a nice volume. The ambience was wonderful and the plating and silverware was graceful.
...now the food part...not so amazing.
We got corn deep fried chips with two salsa, one said to be spicer then the other... I didn't find a difference. One was chunky and the other was perhaps picante but our host (also server) called it hot salsa..the chips where refried greasy and had an odd red seasoning on it.
We each ordered a crispy flour tortilla with their pulled chicken and then two toppings to choose only..why they couldn't just add tomatoes, shredded cheese, lettuce and some sour cream or guacamole or omit what we didn't need was not understandable to me.. Plus our server said that he would charge extra for each extra topping.. The pulled chicken was dry, a tiny bit burned and very very tasteless. I would have though it was mush if I didn't know it was pulled chicken!!
The mince meat shells where bland but the meat had texture atleast! I ordered spicy bit instead got pickled jalapeΓ±os and they couldn't sizzle the cast iron platter because they didn't want the fumes causing anyone to cough.....seriously?
Umm.. So..my verdict ladies and gentlemen..I am going to stick to my regular non halal Mexican place and have my spicy salsa and sizzling shrimp platter any time..:) Posted on June 15, 2012 |

ββ The food is ok, but it can use improving. The chips are too greasy and the spices on them aren't very good. The tortillas for taco's need to not fall apart when your trying to eat them. Just overall needs improvement. Posted on March 31, 2012 |

This place is fantastic! I've been there several times and everything I've had has been really great. It's owned by a Muslim who partnered with a very nice Mexican couple who can really cook up a storm! The result is authentic, delicious, halal Mexican food, with a very pleasant service/dining experience. Posted on July 17, 2011 |

βββ Food was OK. This is no were near real Mexican restaurant. Tortilla chips is not good. I have order steak dinner. It was deep fried breaded streak. Instead of going to this place just of halal meat, I would rather go to regular Mexican restaurant and eat beans and shrimps. Posted on June 2, 2011 |

(Short Review) The most authentic Mexican food experience that you can get that is halal.
(Actual Review) The place was clean and had a good amount of seating. Food was fresh, seasoned well (I tried the steak beef, ground beef and chicken), everything tasted great and looked homemade. Got a chance to meet the Master Chef and he happens to be a Mexican Muslim who has managed a very famous Mexican restaurant in the Canton area. Therefore what you're getting is authentic Halal Mexican food. When comparing this to other halal mexican restaurants in NJ, NY and Michigan, this restaurant is the best. Will be here again on my next trip to Michigan. Posted on November 22, 2010 |

Have been to the restaurant twice, and it was DELICIOUS! The chips are fresh, and come to the table still hot! The salsa is flavorful, spicy, but not too hot. I had tacos and burritos, both were really good. It is some of the best mexican food I've had...and its all halal! FANTASTIC! Posted on September 25, 2010 |
