★☆☆☆☆ Never again will I come here. Yes, the restaurant was nice; however the food was ridiculously expensive and the taste was not even that good. What shocked me most was that there was alcohol being served. I saw it on my way out, otherwise I would have left in the begining. Posted on June 13, 2010 |

★★★★★ Another beautiful restaurant with great food and service. I been to this restaurant several times because it is near my work. The food is wonderful but I am not sure if it is halal or not. Also, they display alcohol and if that bothers you then you know what to do. Lets be honest brothers and sisters. We Muslims dont give enough support to our Muslim owned business. So, they have no other choice but to target none Muslim customers. Thats why some of these restaurants serve Haram meat and alcohol. Even some of us who do go to Muslim owned restaurants, We give them a hard time just because we know the owner is not an American so we will not be discriminated. Things like this discourages the Muslim owners of such business from attracting Muslim customers. Posted on July 8, 2005 |

★☆☆☆☆ Been there once. Insha Allah, I will never return. The food is okay. They serve alcohol and the bottles are displayed on the shelves right around you in the eating area. If that doesn't turn you off then their decorations/displays on the walls surely will. They have carpets hanging on their walls one of which has the map of Afghanistan and American jets bombing people in southern Afghanistan. And the caption says "terrorist", pointing to the people down below. There are other such carpets that are real turn-offs. If you want to be served the blood of the thousands of your innocent brothers and sisters, then you will really enjoy this place. Posted on May 6, 2005 |

★☆☆☆☆ Well, It seem many restraunts are trying to cash in on the booming islamic zabihah conscious customers in Sacramento! I well repeat what is the majority opinion - It is good that businesses are recogizing the growing Muslim community, but if they are selling haram this need to be discouraged and supporting the Islamic businesses that are 100% halal only! If you eat and encourage the Halal Only businesses will grow and offer real choice for the community, but this others are just trying to cash in on a demographic customer base they feel they are losing out but do not take zabihah seriously and may mix Halal and Haram or just tell you a dish is Halal when in fact it is not! Their are numerous "Indian" restaurants in town and you can eat their Vegie meals (real Hindu will not eat meat) but are not HALAL estabishments for their "other" items on their menu and the way they do business. SO, BE MORE CHOOSING ON WHERE YOU EAT - FOR WE MUST ONLY CONSUME WHAT GOD HAS PERMITED US!
PLease see http://www.eat-halal.com for more info on eating islamic meals. Posted on November 12, 2004 |

★★★★★ Salaams, mashallah great food and service. Once again, I am unsure about the halaal authenticity and advice one to personally ask. The prices and portions are reasonable, and the ambiance is nice. However, tauba, they do serve alcohol and openly display it. They also rent out this facility for parties etc. On a scale of 1 - 10, I give the taste of the food a 9. The halaal issue will be up to someone else to ask (again) because I know certain meats are/aren't. I agree with the previous review. Posted on November 11, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ Good food, not all halal though... Like the lavash with lamb stew! Don't like that they serve alcohol and also sale haram dishes / kosher sausages?? Posted on November 9, 2004 |
