★★★☆☆ back in the day their bryani was good with aalo0o.. and kabobs... Posted on March 23, 2015 |

★★★★☆ this place smells funky, but the food is real good, when ever we go back to chicago we will definitely visit this place. Posted on April 7, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Every dish I ordered tasted pretty much the same. Nothing special. Posted on January 24, 2013 |

★★★★★ This place is great! I love eating here everytime Im in Chicago. My favorite dish on the menu is i think called the beef kabob naan roll. It shredded beef with some veggies and placed in a naan. Just writing about it makes my mouth water. Their chicken biryani is great as well. There is no question this place is an authentic zabihah halal establishment. And those of you who can't handle the spices, just tell the waiter you want it made mild and they'll do it for you. Everytime Ive been there the waiter has asked me how I want the dish prepared. All and all a great place to dine. Posted on February 20, 2010 |

★★★★★ This has been my favorite place on Devon Street for years. I love the Goat khari and byrani. Posted on December 25, 2009 |

★☆☆☆☆ Our first time here. Ordered Basmati Rice $2.99 = medium size/ enough for 1 only/ not value for money; Chicken karahi regular spice $ 9.99 pathetic/ stale/ 4 small chicken pieces / very spicy ; Sheesh Kabab $ 7.99 very bad/ no taste. Overall, very bad experience. Place is clean but the manager is always staring. Posted on January 10, 2009 |

★★★★★ There is a halal sign in the window so I am not sure why the status for this is unverified. The food is great and the kabobs are prepared fresh on the grill. If you don't want you food too spicy be sure to let them know in advance. It is open later than some of the other places on devon so is great for a late night meal or snack. The inside is decorated well and is clean Posted on December 12, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Food was very good. Though one time I went there I could not even place an order for 10-15 minutes the waiters were so busy. I finally walked out, and that's when the waiter asked me what I wanted to order. Too late. Other time it was not busy and food and service were very good. Posted on March 26, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ i thought the food was pretty good, i usually get the paratha roll. the service was good also. creepy waiters though, if you're a girl sit with your back facing them. Posted on January 1, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Food and pricing are decent. Chicken tikkas were nice. Couldn't really make out the sheesh kabab, it seemed like a completely different dish. Mango Lassi was excellent and food arrived rather quickly. There maybe other places on Devon, but this is among the few that stays open late. Posted on September 6, 2006 |

★☆☆☆☆ Ordered takeout once and that was enough for me to never eat here again. The kabobs were burnt and too spicy. Wife and I had a stomach ache after. Posted on December 17, 2005 |

★★☆☆☆ I always eat at Sabri and I thought I'll try a new joint for a change. Big mistake. Service was Ok but the food was horrible. I ordered the butter chicken and it was inedible. Not even close to a good dish. We barely touch the food. I might have caught them on a bad day or just ordered the wrong dish... Posted on June 11, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ I have been here three times. The food here is ok. It is close to sabri nehari, so I go here if sabri is full or want to try something different. Try their paratha rolls and the biryani. Don't ask to make it spicy or they will put so much spices in their that you cannot taste the birynai. The place is nice to sit in, how ever their baby chair is not the standard you find in restaurants. Also it is congested in side the restaurant and is not as spacious as sabri. ★☆☆☆☆ I usually do not make it a practice to complain, but thought readers should know about this place before spending their money. AVOID! Posted on March 8, 2005 |

★★★★☆ The chicken biryani and tandori chicken is delicious...I would highly recommend these dishes. The service was good, and so was the food. Posted on December 8, 2004 |

|
★★☆☆☆ I'd not recommend it since it has average food and rude service. You may consider a carry out of their delicious naans though. Posted on September 15, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ They give new meaning to the word RUDE. It was just enbelievable. It was as if they were there to do us a favor. Posted on June 6, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ u see something on a menu, and see something totally different on the waiter's tray. have u ever eaten non-boneless chicken at a restaurant? to be fair he did take it away and not charge us for it. tho we stil ended up payin $10 for 1 beef kebab and 2 nans, obviously uneaten because we discarded the chicken korma. beef kebab was very spicy, could barely taste the meat, and it was brought wrapped in foil like a take out. hope this place bucks up their act. and if it is from dominicks-ughhhhhh. Posted on March 7, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ Food is not all that great. The service is rude. The men dressed as waitors, just stand there and stare at you as you are eating. How annoying!
Entrees are definitely over priced$$$.
I was surprised to read in one of the reviews that the meat comes from Dominick's! Well, I guess that just gives me the last push to not ever go there again! Posted on January 27, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ I smelled of the rotten garbage from the kitchen. Moreover, the owner yelled at one of his customers in front of the entire restaurant. His rudeness made me, my family, and my guests very uncomfortable that we lost our appetites. I was so embarrassed in front of my guests and regretted bringing them there. For sure, I will never come back. I hope the owner someday learns to not yell and curse out his customers. Instead, he should have dealt with his customers in a civil matter. ★☆☆☆☆ poor qualilty service/food, prices are on higher side compare to other places on devon. when mention that chicken is dry, onwer/cook got upset and claimed to have cooked in france for many year. what it got a do with cooking pakistani food? there are many better places on devon. ★★★★☆ Good food, great kabobs! I have not had such good tasting meal with kabobs in a long time. Posted on February 26, 2003 |

★★★★☆ Great food, the closest true chapli kabab like Peshawar, but still not the same. The paratha and Naan are great also the rolls..For a family get it to go..:) Posted on September 30, 2002 |

★★★☆☆ Food is good, different tasting, mostly kababs selection. Place is nice to sit in, though it looks not too great from outside. Kept relatively clean, as much as possible by Devon standards. Naans are good. Guys usually like this place more than gals - kababs, you know... Posted on November 13, 2001 |
