★★★★★ This place has wonderful Indian food, my husband and I loved it. We are Muslim of course, and it is great to have Halaal Restaurants around :-) Posted on April 18, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Esselamu Aleykum
Great food. It was fresh, delicious. They also served some spice, which was good with crispy nans(or whatever it is called). They gave lots of food in one portion. The price is also reasonable. We paid 120$ for six people, considering the fact that all of us ordered something. We even took the rest of the food with us. The staff is also friendly. I just didn;t like the fact thay they served alcohol there. I don't want to accuse wrongly, ESTEGFIRULLAH, maybe it was something else, but the bottle looked like a champagne or wine bottle. That's why 4 stars.
Forgive me if I am mistaken, that's what I observed.
May ALLAH bless the owners. Posted on March 19, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ Was just there last night for dinner, and wasn't impressed with it. While our server was nice and polite, and the food was good, we ended up paying $50 for 2 samosas (appetizer), 2 sodas, and 2 entrees. Had the mixed grill, and palak paneer (saag paneer), which were good, but just not worth all the money we spent. When we asked to have our leftovers packed, the waiter brought us a bag and a styrofoam container, so we could pack it ourselves (never had to pack our own food at a restaurant around here, especially one that is supposed to be sophisticated in comparison to its Devon counterparts). Plus, they actually stood by our table, waiting for us to get up and leave. I don't think we'll be coming here again. Posted on January 23, 2009 |

★★★★★ Very nice place to have great Indian style halal cuisine with your family. Great service with welcoming and inviting atmosphere. Owners and staff are muslim and only use halal meat. Really enjoyed the food and conversation with the owners. If you are in Chicago, make sure you stop in for a meal. Great location in an upscale neighborhood. Highly recommended. ★★★★★ It is the best place that I have eaten so far in Chicago. The behavior is excellent and so is the food. Unlike the restaurants on Devon, the target clientele her is both desi and non-desi people. They have a good appetiser (Royal Bengal platter or some name like that) which was very good. The staff are all muslims and they use only zabihah halal meat. They also kindly offer facility for praying if requested. Posted on March 6, 2008 |
