★☆☆☆☆ Serious complains about this place:
Place looks old uncleaned hut.
Man is terribly rude, unless u r Chinese or White. He is sarcastic and full of attitude.
They only accept cash.
If you ask for olive oil on hammas, he says go home and use from your home.
Food is so oily.
He doesn't understand mild spicy, either it's no spicy or super spicy.
I went there again yesterday after months, hoping Ramadan might have improved him but he wasted 5 minutes chatting with some family and bragging about his place before taking my order.
Sorry but I'm not going there again.
Oh bdw, I've never seen him in the nearby musalla (3 mins walk) offering any prayer. Posted on August 2, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ We went here for dinner one night and ordered lamb shawarmas. It was alright. Perhaps we never had our food prepared by Abdul like the reviews below suggest. Posted on April 6, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ The Lamb and Chicken Shawarma I tried were quite good, the portions are big as well. The only downside is the excessive use of garlic and very cold lettuce. The salad in a hot wrap should be of room temprature no nearly frozen. Posted on January 14, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ Went to Abdul's with high expectations. Ordered shawarma wraps with "moderate" spices. Now I come from a Pakistani background and I can handle Middle-Eastern spices well. But here, moderate was pretty hot! Wraps were gigantic and difficult to handle. Loads of lettuce. It wasn't a shawarma that I was expecting. Would not go there again. Posted on September 5, 2009 |

★★★★☆ I visit Abduls everytime I'm in Vancouver. The first few times the food was amazing, prepared and served by Abdul himself. The last time I was there, I was served by some lady, who didn't seem to care to be there and it reflected on my meal. Great Shawarma, I just hope Abdul is there to make it the next time I visit. ★★★★★ This is the best middle eastern fast food restaurant in the lower mainland. The food is superb, very very tasty and large portions. Extremely reasonable pricing and quality of service. Recommend this establishment to everyone. The only bad thing about this place is the lunch wait, sometime it just gets to busy and the brother should hire some help, this is the only pitfall. ★★★☆☆ I too wasn't impressed, went for dinner and the food is dry and hurt everyone's stomach, the owner leaves before dinner so he isn't there to overview the dinner service. Posted on July 15, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ Not as good as i had hoped. We went in the evening, and everything was avauilabe an ready to be microwaved, specially for you. Not at all impressed.
Probably, lunch hour is better, when the meals are comming off staright from the grill and the salad and sauces are all fresh etc.
I will reserve final judgement until i give Abdul a second chance of offering freshly cooked of the grill stuff rather then refregerated and then microwaved or reheated produce. Posted on August 26, 2006 |

I can vouch for the beef and from what I know of the brother I am sure the chicken is halal too, masalamah Posted on August 26, 2004 |

★★★★☆ "This is my favorite take out retaurant. My wife and I love the chicken shwarma platter served on a bed on rice with humus, coleslaw, tabouleh and spicy pita bread...all of which is home made and for only $8 taxes incl. I used to eat at Pita World @ Metrotown but since having discovered this place...have never gone back to that place. I used to feel sick after eating at Pita World b/c their meat sits out ALL DAY at room temperature then is refrigerated at the end of each night to be used again the next day, which is not safe. On the other hand, the quality of the food here at Abdul's is far superior to any of these other fast food, mall location falafel restaurants. Best of all the owner is Muslim and ALL of the food is halal unlike Pita World. I highly recommmend this place for your regular family take out destination place! " Posted on February 9, 2003 |
