★☆☆☆☆ Very unclean! The food is terrible. Very affordable prices but believe me no taste at all! Posted on October 21, 2015 |

★★★★☆ I first came across this place in 2002 when I was in NYC for a few months for work and I ate iftaar there quite a few times. I ended up living not far away when I returned to NYC from 2004-2009 and this was one of my favourite places in NYC. The food is delicious, the portions are huge and the staff friendly. Its a typical hole in the wall place and for me these types of places somehow beat out the fancy restaurants! When I got married my wife quickly became a fan just like a few of my friends I took there. The name was changed and it has been called Halal International for quite a few years. ★★★★☆ tasty food...you can order american favs like burgers, fries, and tuna...fast food stuff like gyros, jamaican beef patties, and falafel...you can also get authentic foods like baba ghanoush, hummus, roast lamb, chicken and rice, lentil soup, and spicy tasty yemeni tea....food is usually inexpensive.. price may vary depending upon which brother is behind the counter.. which i must admit is rather annoying.. also not the best place to sit down and eat..deli style without any real decor or atmosphere... but nice tasty food.. variety of options..and inexpensive prices.. they also offer catering and delivery within the area.
