★★★★☆ Came here once and thought the food was very good. generous portions of chicken, need to go back here. It is a bit pricey compared to regular chicken shops, but its not the usual takeaway. its a shame they are not based on kilburn high road, they would get a LOT more customers. ★★★★☆ Tiny spot on Willesden Lane. The brother who was working at the time was very friendly. The food was quite good. My wife was looking forward to the waffles but they didn't have any. I do think that they should add some complimentary salad to each order because the food container looks quite unexciting and bland when you open it and see just 2 pieces of chicken and a piece of corn bread. ★★★★☆ Hi
I had the gumbo ( meat + seafood) and sweet potatoe pie .
The smell when you walk in smells home cooked and hearty .
The food was decent and hearty solid food . Tasted like nigerian food ( well at least the gumbo did ) but this isnt a bad thing !
The pie was the best .
would return there and try ribs .
well priced food with good portions
friendly staff

★★★★★ went to this tiny little place tonight and had nearly everything off the menu! just about everything was delicious, but damn Glazed Chicken and Man & Cheese are just gorgeous! the Gumbo is also pretty good, so is the milkshakes and all at such a reasonable price! the sisters were also very good hosts and food was delivered quickly. only wish it was closer to me! ★★★★★ One of the best halal and soul food spots I've been to, period (and I'm from Harlem, NY!). Amazing food, warm service, fresh decor, and very affordable. The only issue I have with it is that they don't give you proper forks and knives, just cheap plastic ones. DEFINITELY worth the trip to Brent!! Posted on August 16, 2010 |
