★☆☆☆☆ Food was quite cold, and their were flies all around. Salad was also a little wilted. But the service was excellent and great atmosphere. A bit on the pricey side. Posted on September 14, 2014 |

★★★★☆ I have been here twice. The first time I ordered a kebab dish that came with hummus and the second time I had the lunch buffet. The kebab was fine but it was Middle East style as in not that spicy. The hummus was fine. When I went for the buffet I did take seconds with a few items but I think I prefer the regular menu items for ordering. Posted on July 22, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Definitely an above average Pakistani restaurant. Quite clean and the service is good as well. We went at a very busy time and had buffet. Really liked the chicken Shashlik, chicken tikka, pakora curry and vegetable pulao. Desserts were kind of disappointing. The chef told me himself he had reduced the spice deliberately but can increase it to satisfy Pakistani taste buds on request. Posted on March 17, 2014 |

★★★★★ Mashaallah this is one of the best halal restaurants around the area. Whenever I eat in this place I leave with pleasure. They work really hard to satisfy customers and they are really friendly. Food always tastes good. Portions are a bit small for me but I think enough to fill an average person. Also try one of their signature beverages. Sitting area and restrooms are always clean. I strongly recommend this place. May Allah Ta'ala give barakah to their business. Posted on May 19, 2013 |

★★★★★ Can I just say AMAZING!!! Not only is the food phenomenal but the service is superb. I am beyond happy that this place is only 3 miles from my home :-) and they recently added an all you can eat buffet for $9.95 11am-3pm Monday-Friday! The rice pudding with pistachios was the final touch that put a smile on my face as I drove away back to my home office. I dream of the Kabob House. Thank you for bringing a touch of culture and fine cuisine to Brea,CA. Posted on September 6, 2012 |

★★★★★ This was my first time eating at Wrap n roll but definitely won't be the last. Great food, great ambiance, great service! I went with a large party and the service was very prompt and the food was delicious. The young/energetic yet humble owners are heavily involved in the restaurant's operations and the results of their enthusiam and hard word are clearly evident. The restaurant was very clean and trendy. The lamb chops were absolutely off the hook! The "melt in your mouth" steak was extremely tender and delicious. I also tried their zinger burger which (not to my surprise) was good but did not wow me like the indian/pakistani food. The desserts were very unique and also in my opinion a great representation of the east/west fusion. Overall, a great experience! Posted on May 14, 2012 |

★★★★★ Having had an extensive experience dining in some of the best restaurants nationwide, I must say this places among the best. With an enthusiastic crew, the young humble chef understands what it takes to make a satisfying meal appear as good as it tastes. Tasted a wide range of items and each was good as the next. A truly wonderful experience. Located in an easily accessible area with excellent comfortable seating and decor. A very positive overall experience. Posted on May 13, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ Maybe we went on an "off" day, but my family and I were disappointed on our first visit here, especially after having heard rave reviews from some friends about how good this place is. Also, before the owners opened the restaurant, they did some catering, which I had the privilege of sampling. Their catered food was wonderful, so I was really happy to hear of this restaurant opening!
We ordered chicken tikka, a mixed grill platter, biryani, lassi, and naan for our party of 3. The drinks are served in tall but skinny glasses, so the serving size is smaller than your average desi place, but costs just as much. The presentation of the food is really quite artistic. But. The biryani was greasy and the spices not quite cooked through. The portion sizes are small, and there was only one small piece of meat in the biryani plate. None of the food was really that tasty; really the flavors were what one could expect from a young cook who is still perfecting their recipes.
The servers were clearly inexperienced. We had one person taking our order, two people bringing our food, and three people asking how our meal was at 3 minute intervals. So all three servers working that afternoon were working all the tables, I guess. Two of them came to our table while we were clearly still eating and asked if we would like anything packed up to take home!
There were 4 other tables being served during our visit. Every time an order was ready, a shout of "order up!" was heard from the kitchen. These folks need to decide if their restaurant is a diner, a casual eatery, or an upscale fusion place. Because on our visit, there was such a clash of styles between the decor and presentation, the service, and the quality of the dishes.
All that said, the owners are friendly and still very young, and I really wish them the best. Insha Allah, they will learn quickly, fix accordingly, and succeed soon! Posted on April 15, 2012 |

★★★★★ This place is clean, the food is fresh and the menu is inventive. Chef Samir has put his own twist on some traditional foods as well as perfected some of our 'mom's home cooking.' We came with a party of 8 people. We ordered a whole variety of things starting with the garlic naan (amazing), biryani, seekh kabobs, tandoori chicken and bihari kabob (hands down my favorite), zinger burgers and mango lassi. Everyone scarfed down the food and even though the combo platters look small at first, they are really filling. Presentation is well thought out so that it feels like you are eating at a really nice establishment versus a typical Pakistani/Indian restaurant.
The mango lassi was exactly how it should be - sweet, but not too sweet and slightly tart from the yogurt. Usually restaurants really screw it up and make it with gobs of sugar and food coloring but they've kept it natural and fresh.
Like I mentioned, some of my favorites are the bihari kabob - it just melts in your mouth! And the chicken tandoori - its white meat and so light but the grilling process makes it so flavorful. You won't feel heavy after a meal here and that's rare to say at a Pakistani restaurant!
Congrats to the owners who are ever present to make sure your meal is perfect. The waitress we had was extremely nice - I wish I remembered her name but she was very accommodating and really new the menu well so she was able to answer all of our questions. We can't wait to be back. Posted on April 2, 2012 |

★★★★★ Ok, so I was going to meet my inlaws for dinner here last night. Technically, i was on a "diet" so I was trying to refrain from indulging. It was going to be dry chicken breast and salad for me... Oh boy, was I mistaken. I left eating my entree, 2 appetizer plates, an amazing sandwich, and countless fluffy naan... but we will get to that in a bit.
This place is new. You can tell by the shine everywhere, and glimmer in the servers' eyes. Stepping in, the first thing that impressed me was the dark, modern, SLS Hotel style decor. Shiny granite counter tops, black leather couches in the waiting/lounge area. Even the hanging celling tiles are thoughtfully colored a dark grayish black. Very very cool.
Enough about looking around at the place... I came in here hungry! I scanned the menu and ordered a few tried and true favorites at most Indian/Pakistani restaurants: Chicken Tikka and Seekh Kabob. But I was here with my wife, who is quite the foodie. She convinced her family to over order HALF of the menu. My diet got thrown out the window the second the garlic cheese naan and tomato sauce appetizer came out. Then came the Volcano Samosa appetizers... a trifecta of 3 samosas piled delicately to resemble a mini Mt Fufi. OMG, melted in my mouth. My stomach succumbed to the hot and spicy foods that they had been yearning for. The chicken tikka masala was tasty, but I found my tastebuds fighting a small duel over it and the saffron infused multi colored chicken biryani. The chef knew what he was doing with the biryani, which my Dad had always taught me must have true separation of the colors of reds, oranges, yellow, and white to be truly gourmet.
So I thought I was done, but it turned out my niece didn't eat more than a bite out of her "off menu" Chicken Zinger sandwich. If I could give a gold medal to one thing on this menu, it would be this heavenly treat. It's a gourmet deep fried chicken breast sandwich... with a criss cut fry snuck in there. Ridiculously ridiculous.
So after stuffing myself with my Nth naan, I waved the white flag. The server came over and suggested dessert. I resigned myself to doing two hours of cardio the next day and just went for it. Mango lassi and some sort of a granola cornflake covered ice cream covered concoction, I have no idea what this thing was, but the cool ice cream and the mango lassi perfectly coated the spicy faire that I had just partaken in.
Brea residents, you are lucky, lucky people indeed. I trekked up from Irvine to get here. I'm now wishing that this joint had opened in south county. I've gained a new favorite restaurant, but I have completely lost my will power. Posted on March 19, 2012 |
